For our “school store” we seitched it up and made different tickets to buy. Examples: ice cream, sit in teachers chair, pizza party, new shoes, living room camp out, bake something special ect :)
Yes, we use plastic grocery bags as small trash bags...but we are midwesterners too! 😊 I am really enjoying seeing how you organize your school supplies and feel reassured as we have set up similar systems!
Hello , Dina recommended your channel. Like your comfy homeschooling area. 😏 I love doing school at our dinning room because we love to cook and bake. Works perfect!
Christie!!! Your space is so simple, practical, functional and so sweet! I love it... and you!!!! I cant wait for our meetup! It has been a dream in the making for years!!!!! ❤😍❤
You and your channel have been such a blessing to me! I just find the way you do things to be so inspiring! Thank you for taking the time to put out this awesome and truly useful content! 💓
I live in an apartment and our homeschool area is a 6 cube shelf in the corner of my living room and I homeschool my 11 year old son. I’m from CA and also use the grocery store bags in our small trash cans especially since we pay 10 cents per bag here. I love seeing all the homeschool rooms others have but know realistically that we wouldn’t use or really need an entire room considering we only have one child, he is older, and he enjoys doing his work on the couch.
I love your space Christy! It is what I want to do with my dining room walls BUT we have mirrors on one whole side of the dining room (1990's) and we just don't know how to get them down without causing serious injury to ourselves. haha. So there they remain. We just haven't made it priority to take them down but I could ever get them down your set up is exactly what I have in mind. It's so practical.
Oh goodness, I would be so intimidated by taking all those mirrors down, too! I feel like they did that in an episode of Home Town (have you ever seen that home reno show?!) It wasn't easy!! 😅😅
@@OneBlessedMess yes we love that show! One day we will get it done. It is just a very intimidating job. My husband said he would just do and and I was like "NO! You will chop your hand or foot off!!!" 😂He's knows I am right. He is a computer guy NOT a projects around the house guy!
Beautiful ❤ I love homeschooling at our dining room table! I tried to move it to our basement but I just didn't like it. We have 5 kiddos (2 biological that are homeschooled) in under 1000sqft, gotta be creative with tiny spaces!
Good morning, Mamas! ☕️ Be sure when you are finished here to check out @pursuingpeace and @simplylivingit 's videos & channels! ❤❤

Yes I used my shopping bag as a trash bag for waste basket.
It is just so much easier (and cheaper! 😅)
