The kid's have good shooting form, even as young as they are. It is great that you are enjoying archery as a family. I am almost 80 years old, and have been shooting traditional most of my life, and I think the kids could out shoot me on the 3D range. LOL What about the wife?? Does she shoot also.
The wife shoots sometimes, but mostly enjoys watching everyone else.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful family with all of us.
Strong parents, that raise remarkable children, are what makes America great, not politics.
Do not be surprised if your strong moral upbringing results in remarkable offspring.
Good Fortune to you all.
Very Cool ! One of the Best Trad archery video I’ve seen. You Guys are excellent parents as evidenced by how great of shooters your Kids are ! … not just saying that either.. the kids are SHOOTERS
Thank you for the support and kind words. We put a bow in their hands as soon as they were old enough to hold one. It's paid off.
Years ago it was in northern Pennsylvania at a ski resort. We would ride up the ski lift to the top and then walk down shooting 3D targets. Near the end was a tree which had 50+ arrows stuck in it about 30 feet up...
We are familiar with that tree. We loved it when it was held at Denton Hill. Fond memories.
Thanks for the video, really nice event. I was a bit impressed by the rex's shot, he s reaching the 3d's almost all the time even at long range with a kid's bow.😮 For sure a promising futur trad hunter.
love the vid. This is what we love about 3d archery. It 's a great for the family. We get to shooting the groups we want. Our family competed in Judo and Karate for years before my wife and I started 3d. Being that we're not completive archers and are not shooting for national points or money shoots so we aren't flighted. We avoid the shot gun starts on the second. It's awesome for us.
Excellent! Your kids are awesome shooters. Never got into trad archery till Covid, but my two boys love it too.
That storm we had on friday night at ETAR this year, tho. 😳 im glad we rented an RV this year. I felt bad for all the people in tents. It was crazy. And the heat was brutal on friday!
An RV is always a safer bet at ETAR. Well played. We were in a 30 year old tent that rolled over and died that weekend. We were soggy, but still had a blast.
Looks like a fun time. How do i reach Rex for coaching lessons?
@@thelivingwildfamily that I can believe. My new year's goal is to shoot a course half as well as he did. 🏹
forksville is smaller, but friendlier. i went to the first 3 gatherings at denton hill, but won't bother with it anymore it's not as nice as when it first started out , bigger is not always better. i can shoot at my modest little course out back, and do every day....FOR FREE ! adios denton hill .
so cool to see family doing things together! you guys rock!
Thank you. We definitely enjoy it.
