Bro I appreciate your content man! I’m grateful that I came across your page. I’m a diehard wrestling fan and you’re the only wrestling podcast I follow. Keep up the great work my brother ✊🏾
The main reason AEW fans are so passionate is because they want it to be like it was at the start, but TK has changed and doesn’t see the problem…we know it can be good if he’d recognize the problem
It's very hard to support your favorite wrestling shows if they keep making the same mistakes. I'm a fan of AEW and WWE products. Sure, both promotions aren't perfect. We're the fans who are paying our hard-earn to watch their shows. If we don't like what they delivered, we had the right to criticize, same thing we do with movies/TV shows, video games and restaurant foods. AEW had been delivering a bad programs lately, and I will call them out on it, same with WWE. There are times you have to be hard on them if AEW/TK and WWE/HHH aren't listening to our complaints. If we don't express our dissatisfaction with the company, they're not going to do something to change.
u have a point and I used to think the same way, until I followed AEW's Instagram page and I started seeing some sick WWE stans in the comment section, telling people not to watch AEW, crapping on every storyline, every segment every match, and they adapt this herd mentality, and over time it turned me off and I stopped watching WWE for like a month now, the fan base is more toxic than ever before, neither AEW nor WWE is the "bad guy" here , it's just a business, at least AEW is getting bashed everywhere, while I can't say 1 bad word about hhh's booking without the d*ck riders attacking me, his booking since WrestleMania 40 has been trash, but I keep seeing people saying for example"bash in Berlin is one of the best ppv's" and I'm like WTF did we watch a different show, we just need to stop doing this childish crap, cause it's leading nowhere and it's pushing people away, I've been watching WWE since 2008 , I never imagined I would stop even when everyone I know did, but somehow the fans were able to make me stop
I completely agree. Keep on being who you are. I enjoy your content because you point out things and talk about things that others don't. Most times, I agree with what you're saying and on rare occasions I disagree with you. But, it doesn't mean I'm right and you're wrong or vice versa. That's great content and a way to get conversations going. I know that I've posted comments on here and there's always someone saying that in a hater. If I was, I would've stopped watching wrestling a long time ago and I mean since like 1979, for those who think I only watch WWE. I was a fan of like 15 different organizations during the 80's and not just 2. Thanks @Ango for great content. 🤘😛🤘
You make really good points and you might not be biased but a lot of others are and that muddies the waters. I think AEW fans are defensive because they're constantly under siege by psychotic WWE fans that act like they're in a cult. Look at any AEW socials post, check any livestream whether it's zero hour or some type of premiere. The comments are always littered with tribalism and harassment. It goes both ways I'm sure but it's definitely not a 50/50 split. I wish everyone would just enjoy wrestling, why spend so much time on something you dislike? Would you go get ice cream with a friend and you like chocolate but he likes vanilla, and instead of enjoying your chocolate ice cream you just sit there and tell him he has terrible taste cause he prefers vanilla? Weird analogy maybe but the shoe fits so.
I just think the internet is a cesspool and every wrestling company has pros and cons. Saying AEW can’t be critiqued is wrong. Wwe will always be the giant. AEW in internet world is being bashed all the time. I can’t click on anything AEW and it not being negative. I watch the shows and ppv’s and for whatever reason the internet turned against it. The internet just seems to divide people and not bring people together.
@ are they really? Or is wwe just using them to take talent from their roster…this collaboration really is one sided…after wwe signs Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, Mike Santana, etc. Wwe won’t hesitate at all to end the partnership and leave tna in the dust…
I gave AEW a chance I went to a couple of PPV's also went to TV tapings. At first it was entertaining But, as tine as went on it's gotten worse. IMO most of the talent has creative control. It's total ciaos. I gave them multiple chances to improve. Then came the day where I said no ore and walked away. I'm sure I'm not the only person that's done it. I'd love the opportunity to give Tony Khan feedback about his product. Having multiple promotions alive and doing well is a great thing for the talent and a great thing for the business in general as well as the fans. Choices are a good thing.
Truthfully i just feel you are bias towards wwe all i hear when I watch is how great wwe is and all negative towards aew it seems one sided. However you are right you are entitled to your opinion but so am I so why when I call ya out for what I think is favoritism do you get upset
Well said. Can’t please everyone but you definitely have been clear about where you stand on most things in pro wrestling. The tribalism is unfortunate and I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. Keep on doing you.
I've watched you way back to before you had rebranded to Destination PW, and you are absolutely not biased toward any promotion. That's why I'm still here. You opine on the good AND bad on all companies. Over that entire time, the way you critique and how you arrive at your opinions have not changed. Here for the long haul, bro o/
What kills me is I watch every show every PPV buy the game love the company but just like a few weeks ago when they had the fright night Wednesday show I said the ratings are going to be scary. I got called a nonsense troll WWE fan boy, like I literally watch more AEW than WWE I enjoy both but some how I'm a troll fanboy
@@mikenyr4life491 they make WWE look bad that's the problem and WWE has Tribute to The Troops over the years and Help people with cancer. That's my point AEW is only 5 years old and Has done nothing for the community to be brutally honest. Only thing AEW has done in the past 5 years is getting fights backstage firing wrestlers & losing some in the process and also copying WWE products like Having a screen around the barricade & Turning the name WrestleMania Too there own version of wrestlDream.. those are Facts
I got into AEW during and shortly after the pandemic. The shows were great - it felt like the best of the NXT Black and Gold era. Every show felt like a PPV. Around the time Vince was finally pushed out of WWE and their shows got better, AEW took a sharp dive. That's fact. Plus how they represented themselves during the Punk situation proved they were shortsighted and petty. They could have used that controversy and made a shit ton of money but nope....they sided with a sidelined washed up midcarder in Colt Cabana and shot themselves in the foot, and responded with terrible go-nowhere story lines, short builds, sidelined hot trending talents, invested in boring ones and mismanaged their sub brands. Not exactly a stellar response to a resurgent WWE. I still like AEW, but it's frustrating to watch the brand flounder.
You're not telling any lies. I was there since day 1. Even before Day 1...since the rise of alternative wrestling in ROH/NJPW...the whole prime of Bullet Club days. I couldn't wait to see what happened in AEW between 2019-mid 2022. Today, I can hardly be bothered what happened on Dynamite. Maybe highlights off UA-cam if I even have the time or interest. This is not what most people envisioned in the company's infancy. I even forgot that Full Gear was this weekend & that Moxley was facing Orange Cassidy. That says something. The dropped storylines, the backstage politicking, the flamboyant rage of Tony Khan. Wtf is this, bro? I'll always support wrestling in general, especially AEW. I'm getting TNA in mid 2010s type of vibes, though.
Bought every PPV up to All In 2023, haven't wanted to watch since really, the lack of storylines absolutely killed all my interest in the company. Every wrestler I started to get behind either went nowhere or my opinion if them soured by just being part of this product, I don't wanna hate AEW but I definitely won't force myself to like it.
I enjoyed WWE a w and TNA the people should just watch what they want to watch now I get that there's some negativity toward different things and ratings and bulshit just the other day someone told me AWS doing bad and I told him go ahead and watch TNA any light no I don't watch it cuz I don't like the venue or and they have low viewership in numbers and I'm like so you're just not going to watch it because it's not a part of the cool kids all I'm saying is that these companies give us something to watch Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday even Saturday and you know what sometimes you just have to be grateful for that and see what you're really investing in in each company what mainly makes you enjoy watching wrestling
Wwe fans are the same way. People like to treat triple h like a fucking Great Booker when in reality he is alright…I’m not saying Tony is the best Booker ever but for him to have a company that is 5+ years old and be at the place that it is now is incredible.
Stopped watching you cause you were too biased towards AEW. Great seeing you and JDFROMNY finally criticize AEW for what a terrible show it is and discovering how toxic the AEW fanbase has always been.
Solomonster, too. I stopped consuming wrestling podcasts and UA-cam content because everyone was sucking off AEW. It's good to finally see people waking up. Even POST Wrestling has been a little critical - though, of course, not very much. But seeing John Pollock critical of AEW was fucking wild.
Dude you are biased when it comes down to aew and you've been biased for a long time so don't try to deny it now I've called you out on it plenty of times its WWE this and WWE that you might as well be working for triple h and you're not his employee you could've have fooled me

The only thing I don’t like about WWE fans is they still worship Vince McMahon like a god. Also I don’t like Tony khans story line. I criticize AEW because of their booking. I don’t like Vince McMahon because he has a history of toxic behavior
The harsh truth is that one company will be around in 2 years and one will not.
I'll never forgive them for the Katt Dennings thing
