I find a lot of duplication and very few truly new scents. It makes it more complicated to decide which to buy. It not just about whether I like the scent but do I have essentially the same thing already.
Merino musk it’s sooooo good. For me it’s smells like Molton Brown Milk Musk (the eau de toilette version)! I think it’s very similar…Cashmere musk it’s more sweet, with the note of popcorn which is very strong! Thank u for ur video. 😊
I heard the tobacco was even better like sexy! Not smoky but the tobacco adds something? I always thought red tobacco was too strong medicinal anyway 😢
@@Probadoaprobado yes I think it’s the saffron I’m not a fan of? I also am not a fan of fir 🌲? I think a dupe of the extrait though might be up my alley! So i stick with its cousin Burberry Her ha
I love Vetiver Pamplemousse! It's perfectly refreshing in the hot summer weather. I agree that last year they had quite a few interesting frags, this year I haven't smelled anything impressive. I've just bought one from the new Amber line, Amber Satin, after testing and smelling it at the store, and then spraying it at home I realized it's a dupe for another Zara perfume, Sand Dessert at Sunset, from the men's section... I also smelled the musk line and none of them really smelled like musk to me...
Hello Dear. After testing Stellar Amber side by side with my Amouage Guidance sample, it's the same vibe😉I bought a full bottle before everybody rushes...the problem when testing in the shop is my nose gets blind very quickly.
Angelic Vanilla by Zara is one of my favourite perfume in my collection. Not sure if its still available but i made sure to grab a back up bottle and i also have a travel size to pop in my bag so im good for a while. It smells like baby powder to me. That clean, cozy, soft smell is perfect for everyday. It has a rice note in it which I find to be like rice powder rather than cooked steamed rice. I saw a video comparing it to MFK gentle fluidity Gold 🤷🏻♀️ cant say anything about that as i havent smelled the mfk one. I tend to overspray as performamce isnt the best but im willing to spray 16-20 sprays of it means i get to have it on me for 4-6 hours
Hey, I was glad to find out you feel the same way about new releases. I also can't keep up with them and don't feel like missing out, because Zara hasn't really given us any gemstones lately. That being said, I was impressed with a recent men's fragrance, which is called Antique Brown. It's a stunning gourmand scent and is totally unisex. Definetely best coconut perfume I have smelled :) By the way, Vetiver Pamplemousse is also one of my favs! I feel very clean, fresh, and put together whenever I wear it. I also enjoy Sultry Pear, Golden Decade, Black Dart, and Cherry Smoothie (the one in squarish bottle).
That lipstick is really stunning on you. I always notice when you wear that color. I've never tried Zara. I have rhubarb in my garden that my husband's grandparents transplanted from a hill I see from my yard. Apparently it was a wild hill when they found the rhubarb there. I love to make strawberry rhubarb jam with it. My husband's grandmother died at 99, so it's a very long lived plant.
I have Rose Gourmand and I really like it but I think I’ll wear it more when it gets cold out. I did buy Cherry Bomb and didn’t like it at all. One of my co-workers loved it so I gave it to her.
Jo’s Rhubarb is my all time favorite! I wish they would bring it back… Pamplemouse Vetiver being my second favorite, I ‘m very glad they brought it back! 🙂
If you fall in love with a Zara fragrance, stock up on it immediately! It’s gone before you know😅 I have several favorites, hands down Fashionable London, lasts all day and great layering parfum for me! I have 4 bottles of it😁
Vetiver pamplemouse is my favorite too. The vetiver is so gentle. guerlain pamplune which is also a nice grapefruit but they are distinctly different. I do also really like Zara hibiscus. I enjoy Jo’s rhubarb also but I think I prefer the Hermes rhubarb ecarlot. Mochi atelier is so good. Why why did they get rid of that?? I can’t find a substitute. I have 2 problems with Zara. I am a sucker for buying things out of fear they will be discontinued. And they are so unpredictable, it makes me anxious. I buy things I shouldn’t and with Zara they are all blind buys. Mostly not wildly successful. Second the naming conventions are so annoying. Gardenia is a coffee fragrance? Apple juice is like chance eau tendre? It’s just weird.
That's interesting what you're saying that you used to like many more Zara perfumes in the past and not so many these days. I have to say it's the complete opposite for me. 15 - 20 years ago every time I smelt a Zara perfume I was disappointed, they all smelt kind of the same, very cheap and artificial. These days, even though there are misses, I feel they've stepped up their fragrance game a lot and I find many perfumes I like. My long term faves are Ebony Wood and Rose Gourmand. I really wanted to try the Vetiver Pamplemousse for this summer but it was constantly sold out in the UK. Hopefully next year. 🙂
Hi Arlene! 😄 Rose Gourmand is my favorite fragrance from Zara. I'm interested in trying Love, which combines Red Temptation and Rose Gourmand. I've heard positive reviews about the Red Temptation Extraits but haven't had the opportunity to try them yet. Yesterday, I watched a review of the new Amber collection, and the reviewer mentioned that Steller Amber smells similar to Amouage's Guidance. Do you agree?
Why why why do they cancel the ones that were actually good!?? The Mochi one I want and the Paris one ugh I saw 2 on Mercari and one person was selling it for a fair price and the other selling it for like 150 ha
I'm with you on both VP and Jo's Rhubarb. Flew right under the radar. Ditto with a few others like True Leather and Exclusive Oud. At least if they don't bring them back they'll fetch a pretty penny on the resale market. 😆 Kidding not kidding.
The only Zara fragrances I've kept are gourmand addict, violet blossom, golden decade and sublime epoch. I haven't gone back in a while to test any, cause I also got a little bored with them, and I know that their prices have gone up a bit!
I've sworn loyalty to Golden Decade. I have 5+ backups of it and I'm gonna continue stockpiling them as much as I can because if one day they discontinue it, I'll have my backups with me. I also love Red Temptation which is no surprise at this point, and I also LOOOOOVE Hypnotic Vanilla and Ebony Wood. Gardenia and Rose Gourmand, I've been liking more and more recently.
It's interesting ... i can't stand vetiver pamplemousse, to my nose is a very sharp lemon cleaning detergent. My favorite one is soleil decade, floral coconut and woody, very misterious and sexy, unfortunally has been discontinued....
I agree the past year? They released wayyyy toooo much that aren’t loves for me! They need to have some signatures that they keep! It makes me sad because like two plus they were doing it right! I will say: golden decade? A great cheap Libre dupe!! I didn’t find red decade a good br 540 dupe at all! I did love the Jo Malones I think that is one of the best collections they did! I do wish they’d bring more unique ones gourmands etc idk it seems like they just threw them out into the market the last year with no love
The men’s section had the the best fragrances Shamanilla, flower please and the wood one are great and layer well. Not masculine at all. The Livre Blanc has gone but that range was great. I’m desperate to try the musk, it will the first women’s fragrance I hope to buy from them for a long time. The J Epinett fragrances were disappointing. I gifted mine to friends. When they get it right they do amazing things but they are increasingly rare diamonds.
@@kuga7423 adore them for the price point. Shamanilla evokes references to early versions of Vanillary by Lush. Flower Please is just a nice clean non aquatic fresh fragrance so easy to spritz through the day. I want to see the musk reviews before I chance them as they could be genius (like recently departed Livre Blanc) or another well trod nothingy waste.
I feel like the more we smell, the less we like. Things are less interesting.

Definitely! I enjoyed fragrance much more when I had 2 or 3 bottles. As with other areas in life, there's something to be said about overabundance.
Good point :)

I love when you talk about cheapies. I bought vetiver pamplemousse based on your recommendation. I love it a lot 😊
