I have my Six Million Dollar Man from '75 standing pride of place on my desk. Has all his bionics but missing his long perished rubber skin sleeve (around 79-80) and his white socks. Really looking forward to your restoration! YOU CAN REBUILD HIM!
Simon Worley Just filming the second part now. Replacement skin done, I have an idea for the socks as well, Just waiting on a parcel to arrive with what I hope will work nicely.
I've just fitted a couple of those replacement skins without problem. Took a lot of patience. New video will be up soon showing the process. I have some spares, drop me an email.
Memories… I had Mr. Austin as a kid. I had to Superglue his head. Clothes, I used to grab a sports sock and cut it down the middle and sew it closed for the legs. You also do it for the top. However, the red jumpsuit is best. Good luck!
I've been inspired once again! I've picked up a very reasonable Steve Austin with original tracksuit and trainers. One thing that it is not great is his ankles! They are very loose so much so he wont stand up. Any ideas? I was thinking PTFE tape like I've used on my SW figures. Cheers for this great channel.
My favorite toy as a kid in the 70's. This brought back so many memories!Thank you!😊
Really looking forward to this series of vids, Cheers, Fuzz.
