- Russian occupiers are considering withdrawing from Ukrainian Crimea. It becomes clear as occupation administrations and military commanders relocate their families and assets. Pro-Ukrainian organisations and guerrilla movements intensify their activity in the peninsula, reminding occupiers that they aren’t welcome there. Despite increased counterintelligence measures and surveillance by Russian forces, the resistance continues to disrupt Russian military operations. Regular sabotage actions, such as damaging railway lines that disrupt supply routes, disabling equipment, and reporting coordinates to the Ukrainian military reduce Russian combat capability and make their life on the peninsula unbearable. How the pro-Ukrainian movement in the temporarily occupied Crimea is growing, and to what extent will the occupying administration be able to handle this?

The "underground resistance" was incredibly effective in WW2, and the occupying forces were dealt with.
Ukraine has always been known as a country with the second largest diaspora in the world, 🇨🇦.
These efforts are dangerous, but can make a difference between making the recovery of Crimea easier or harder.

When the Russians blew up the Nova Kakhovka dam and cut off the main water supply to Crimea, they sealed the fate of the peninsula. Crimea will be Ukrainian once again, with or without the Kerch strait bridge.....

Even if a peace treaty was signed tomorrow and Russia got to keep Crimea, resistance forces can make occupation hell for them.

I think you're all getting way too optimistic. Russian organizations preparing for the possibility of an exit does not equal Russian troops are going to leave. Don't get me wrong, I hope they do leave and the sooner the better. Just saying that this report does NOT say that Russian troops are leaving.

Sure U.S. tax dollars go to support Ukraine militarily but that's like maybe a percent or two of our defense budget, barely a drop in the bucket and well spent in helping to defeat Russia which is not only a threat to Ukraine but to some degree the entire free world.
