I was so disappointed In A Heart Beat show was cut short from disney channel because parents were bitching and complaining , I was 11 at that time I thought something's were graphic but I sure did learn something important I love this show a lot it is was very educational .
That's why they cancelled it!? Such bullshit. I was around the same age as you, and this show is what inspired me to go into EMS. I'm a medic now, and really wish kids these days could see this show!
+jan8919 well shit no wonder i barely remember this show cause it sure wasn't on for too long but tbh it would done better if it was on teennick or abc family cause this was pretty much a teen version of er and grey's anatomy
+jan8919 I remember this show and I did some research and you right that's why it was cancelled, I didn't see ANYTHING about ratings. It's sad especially in that same year that Disney brought the Family Channel so Disney could have transfer the show to ABC family see if the show could have survived in new channel. I had crushes on the on screen sisters. However, if the show did last longer I doubt Lauren Collins would have been on Degrassi and who knows what X-men would have done if Shawn Ashmore wasn't available to play Iceman in the sequels.
I remember learning what huffing was from watching this show. Disney used to not be afraid to discuss uncomfortable topics for young kids/preteens. I also even remember them not being afraid to talk about race and even gender roles. Now everything is sugarcoated for these babies and ignorance is accepted.

I'm seeing this in 2024. I stumble onto this, perhaps by accident. The most heartwarming thing I have seen in my 68 years of living. Delightful and charming
Wow Disney was only showing kids career paths and opening young minds I feel this show could have went far like ER, 91-1 or Grey's anatomy ,Chicago fire plus it was reaching out to young minds it could of inspired more young these days if it were still on.
They've edited out whatever the first victim said about hating black people. It used to be in there in an old upload. You might as well leave it in. The whole point of the kids conversation after was talking about how gross it was that the guy treated the kid that way.
Had a major crush on Shawn Ashmore in this show. Maybe it should not be a surprise that I ended up marrying an EMT. 🤷🏼♀️ I don't think I'd make a good one myself, but I am a-ok with graphic discussions about the human body at mealtimes, funky schedules and holidays spent working.
Was so excited to see shawn and chris together again. Edit: OMG and I just realized that the guy who plays their boss at the station played Rachel's dad on Animorphs too!!!
This is the first time I've watching it because me I was born in 97 and I didn't even know about this show until now well actually I been looking at the old Disney channel commercial and that's where I saw the series so I began looking up the show and so here I am. And I got to say it seems interesting
This show was waaaay ahead of it’s time and the cast is stacked with the young all stars from that late 90s early 00s era. Chicago fire and 9-1-1 Arent as good as this
At 16:40 timing usually a woman that stunning would tease and give a man hell if she saw him crying, there was once when a woman got a tattoo of me crying on her upper back
I remember watching this show! Made me want to become an EMT!! Now I'm an EMT
me too ! I'm a medical assistant now ! this was when Disney channel gave kids real dreams
GreenDayisAmazing that’s great man!! thank you
Had this in the UK too on CBBC I think. It's kinda cringeworthy now though looking back as an ambulance tech, the amount of stuff they get wrong.
Yeah see it shows like this that encourage kids to fulfill their dreams. Hell watching this show, cause me to become a caregiver!

That's the first episode I remember. Didn't someone choke while playing Chubby Bunny on this show??
Think you’re being a little dramatic.
This show was ahead of its time.
@@hofx666 No, they're absolutely right. Disney treats kids like they're stupid in nearly every new program.

I loved this Show as a tiny Human!!!
I'm a Nationally Certified EMT now! 😎
Such a great show. Was so upset when Disney pulled it off the air.
Shelly Tharp yep it sucks I wish they would reboot this show!
It didn't last very long, only 20 episodes. I like the theme song.
I haven't thought of this show in years
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!
The intro was stuck in my head for a long while, and NOW! I know from where.
I watched this show as a kid and loved it. And now im a firefighter
Thank you for posting these! I remember I was reallllly little watching this show but kinda scared because ambulances used to scare me as a kid.

Don’t know about you guys but if Disney Movie Club releases this on DVD, I would buy it... IN A HEARTBEAT #LAMEPUNINTENDED
but seriously this show for the most part aged pretty well. Pretty ahead of its time considering the target demographic.
We should fight back with a Petition!

Is Tyler in love with Val?
I cried when Jamie bought the used cones for the guy at the end. It just shows that he is not a mean/tough as he likes to show
I completely forgot about this show! I saw Val on Sharp Objects and knew I remembered her face from somewhere. Haven't thought of this in decades.
Before I knew him as Iceman in the X-Men movies or Quantum Break on Xbox, here's what introduced me to Shawn Ashmore
What about Nickelodeon's "Animorphs"?

Haha I just noticed the song that would go on to be the saddle club theme song played in this episode.
The beginning of this theme song has come up randomly in my head so many times over the last two decades. Glad to watch this show again.

Shawn Ashmore looks the same in 2021. How tf.
Is that Drew and Adam's mom from Degrassi The Next Generation who plays Alex's possible replacement.
I just want to know how the quality is so good lol
I loved this show when it came out now, I am laughing at how crazy it seems.

im seeing actors from, south of nowhere, bring erica and degrassi
South of nowhere was such a great show and had so many good looking people. Lol
I remember this show vaguely because Disney never reruns it after it ended
this show scared me as a kid not gunna lie lol, but i loved the series regardless
I enjoyed So Weird. I liked Disney Channel shows until they ended Liv & Maddie. I used be obsessed with Disney Channel girls.
I remember a young Paige michaelchuk searching for bras on the computer lol

Why isn’t this on Disney plus?
It was made by Alliance Atlantis, a Canadian production company who also made the 1995 MGM TV show "The Outer Limits".
Jamie looks like Zach Braff.

In some places yes. In most places no.

Omg Paige...I'm kidding I've seen this before Degrassi.
