So some old pictures of the legion in places like Algeria they had some of the old lizard style camo but in the 80s and 90s they just had OD green uniforms. What was with the change ?
@@mosin21 The French army moved away from "camo" after the war in Algeria, concentrating on a more "Cold war" European theater. But "camo" was always used in tropical operations. This until about the first Gulf war where new uniforms became once more of a camo pattern.

I know Thomas but were in different regiments, so we just crossed paths a few times.
