I remember being able to hear this from the long entrance at Govenor's Island when you guys were playing that Rite of Summer festival (I was running late from the subway delay)
recently i've been perusing a bunch of BoaC stuff to listen to and to find new material for either performance or composition. I first saw a video of you doing 'for madeline' and i thought, "wow." As i've now found and watched you in other performance vids, i can now say i'm officially a fan. i i love the way you perform, and i love that black cello you play with too. great performance of this piece. best wishes for your continued success. look forward to seeing you perform more. cheers -M
Fantastic performance! I was wondering whether the treatments were all automated before hand or did you have a pedal switch to activate/deactivate them at the appropriate time?
i cannot imagine the amount of talent and drive you need to have to execute this the way you did but its amazing. a great piece id heard before but i really love this version
Very interesting piece but something that I'm interested in is if the feedback is suppose to be there or not? I'm honestly confused because you held it together like it was... but it feels out of place to my inner electric cellist. That aside, great performance! This piece was recommended to me from some people on Reddit and this is the best recording I've found thus far. If you're interested in some commissions or someone to jam with, then I'm game!
Ok, good to know! ^_^ Like I said, if you're interested in some pieces then don't be a stranger! Against what I have on here (minus the snippet from my piano piece) I keep most of my modern stuff offline.
Oh my. This piece extraordinary and so are your interpretation. Where can I buy the sheet music? I'm new to composition, but I'm so very excited to see how it's written! ❤
Blistering performance of a challenging piece. Hats off. Made me tear up honestly
Beautiful!
There is something painful and harshly beautiful about this piece at the same time. Wonderful performance!
thank you so much for playing & sharing.. awesome work

yes, Adam, feedback is written into the score! One of my favorite parts about the piece!
