I had a 1996 formula from 2001-2006. Bought it with 38k and traded it in with over 150k miles. Great , reliable car. The only thing I ever had to fix was the radiator and clutch at 140K miles.
I can understand wanting to keep it's value up but these cars were meant to be driven. I recall a friend of mine fresh out of the Marines bought one of these back in 1993 when they first came out. The exhaust sound alone sold me on them. His was also red with the same color velour interior ironically.
Your voice almost sounds like actor Elliot Gould from Ocean's 11. Nice review and cool car my dad used to own a '71 Pontiac Firebird formula with a 350 engine in it, too bad he had to donate it due to the transmission being shot.
I have a 94 Trans am i only paid 1700 for it, only issue was the key was broken in the ignition 200 for the steering column so basically paid 1900 for a 115,000 mile transam
Thinking about getting this for my first car, family member selling to me for $2,000 full restoration, complete rebuilt engine about 100,000 miles on it, thoughts?
I’m buying one with 240k miles on it lol but it’s been well maintained for its overall lifetime. Had 2 owners. First owner had it for 11 years 2 owner had it for 14. Always been well serviced and maintain. Do you guys think It’s a good idea to get it? It still runs and everything
@@brianholmes6626 There really not you actually see nice cars in the uk, 90% off the cars America’s drive are just big boats that’s are slow af 😂 I’m not even trying to over exaggerate. And trust me they are not common in the uk thank god. You’ll very really see them around.
I purchased this very car two years ago and it has a little over 31k miles now. It’s a truly amazing car!! ✌️

Of this? What size?
If I ever get a car like this, I will raise up one hand and say "I rule".
It's first to 3rd damnit.. c'mon people
Or second to fourth depends on what driving your doing
No, it's 1st to 4th when the lockout engages. 1st to 3rd doesn't make any sense.
Of course it's 1st to 4th!
Seems to me there's not much product knowledge on this site, starting with Bill.
not original front to back the tail pipes are aftermarket... as is the intake.
Funny you say formula one because it is a formula Firebird
I own this car and absolutely love it. Check it out in my UA-cam channel.✌️
I dont get why Americans like cars Like These. You would get laughed at if you was In the uk driving that.
Oh yeah, you'd get laughed at for having those British teeth in America too
They are just as common there as they are here lol they look pretty much the same to except the tail lights were required to have amber turn signals
