Thanks everyone for 10K views. This is crazy, I've never had this many views before, and I feel so proud! Thank you so much everyone! Also there is a tutorial on the polyrhythm melody up on my channel! ua-cam.com/video/92RR8M8ch9I/v-deo.html
Thank you Also cool, you commented exactly 53 minutes ago when I replied to this. Name of my favorite album is Retrospective 53 Minutes, so that's cool
I'm so sorry! I honestly thought the song began when the other instruments came through. Anyways, I'll have to live with what I've got. I'm proper exited for future project. Subscribed!
@mynameiskrysta music is about experimentation, finding what you like. If you don't like a polyrhythm with changing tempo then you do you, I'm gonna stick with what I like
@@SpringySpring04 💀 i didn’t say it wasn’t. It’s just not what a polyrhythm is. It’s STILL not what a polyrhythm is. The title says “tried” and to be extremely blunt, you straight up failed. That’s ok, as long as you don’t get all fuckin weird about it. And i was careful not to be rude about it but hey if you wanna get dismissive i get to respond appropriately. And if anyone else did this before you and called it a polyrhythm, i hate to break it to you gorge, but they were wrong too. Hopefully they have the wherewithal to experiment and make interesting music without calling it something it’s not and subsequently dismissing anyone who actually knows what the fuck they’re talking about.
basically galaga is like a space invaders type of game but with better mechanics and no hiding behind bunkers at around 0:11 the polyrhythms start to sound like one of the enemies in the game descending toward you watch some galaga gameplay and you’ll understand what i mean :]
In the Piano Roll there's a button on the top-left of the piano roll editor that looks like a sheet music note. If it's highlighted, it will lock your notes to a specific scale, and will not lock if it's gray. Also there's no such note as E# (that's just F)
I don't have the project file because I was using the trial version of FL at the time, but I believe the bass was a filtered saw or triangle sound. I don't really remember. The chords is a pretty simple pluck sound, where the low pass filter frequency is modulated by the velocity of the notes, made in Vital. Kind of a similar sound to the polyrhythm melody's pluck sound, which I showed how to make in my next video, a tutorial on the polyrhythm programming

0:44 amazing fill there!!!
Yesss thank you!
2:02 it's incredible how order is born from chaos!
there's no chaos everything is calculated
i mean its not really chaos, by definition a polyrhythm is pretty strictly organized, its just not an order our brains are able to pick out very well
It's more of the other way around
prepare thyself
when you love advanced music theory but also love digital music production:
Aphex Twin
This is how artists start their songs when you know the album is about to hit different.
the polyrhythm sounds like when I would play one sample with different speeds at the same time
Yo wait it really does
@@SpringySpring04 lol
I mean that's what a polyrhythm is
I love this technique. It takes a decent sample to a complex melody, you can almost finish beats with drums after doing that.
@@ninjireal true, you can make some super complex stuff!
I'll admit I was a little bit skeptical but this is freakin awesome
true
adjusting thr tempo to the polyrhythms actually crazy
Tempo change approaching 1:18 and transition right after are both phenomenal
I love the tempo change in between that was so smooth.
this is so cool, love your bravery in creating a tempo env to make some parts sound nicer. great work
Man i just cant escape this trend oh my god
This bops hollyly, also, it sounds like minecraft music with synth and inserted through a muffler
that sound so good bro you deserve more views
Thank you so much
i see more people using tempo changes, and im all here for it.
How you turn a simple trend into a real beat is incredible 🎉
DAMN those bpm changes are snazzy
cant wait for that tutorial, this looks really fun and interesting!
Hey thanks! Yeah tutorial is up now!
Interesting technique and video, cheers from Germany
Danke!!
woah this is really chill
Thanks!!
i love how you interpreted it, the way everything lines up is so cool
This played out so much better than I thought, I love it
Genuinely the most creative version of this trend I've seen. Incredible job man you're suuuper underrated!!!
Thanks!!
1:18 is really pretty. sounds like an inzo song for a second

Thank you

1:21 is amazing
I am not sure how long this took you but this is so amazing!!! You deserve more attention :)
Thanks! I think it took me about 2-3 hours after finding a method to program the polyrhythm in the piano roll
ngl sometimes it sounds amazing sometimes it doesn't but the song other than the polyrythm is fire asf!!
This Is Fire 🔥
Love it as much as the other ones(slowing down was fun)😊
Yeah, tempo automation can be really cool sometimes!
This was so fire!!!!!! I wish I knew how to compose like that

better than what i can do
I'm sure with enough music theory knowledge, anybody could pull it off! (It's really quite simple in that regard)
I heard you like polyrhythms but fantasy game

Please make this a full song
it IS a full song though
its like 2 minutes 46 sec

The polyrhythm trend is good, but I need the misery x [insert arbitrary number here] songs trend…
Kinda confused what that supposed to mean but ok 👍
I love how the polyrhythm* sounds so good and mixed with other beats

How did you manage to make it sound much better than Virtual Riot’s version? This is amazing!
sounds pretty similar to virtual riot's version

Virtual Riot? Is that you? lol
Unfortunately not

This is very good but i do think you might not understand what a polyrhythm is because you put tempo changes in
I've seen other people (i.e., Azali) do cool stuff with tempo modulation. Besides, who said polyrhythms were exempt from tempo modulation?
