Pastor, thank you for the message. Today, our Scripture passage is on Exodus 7 here in Uganda. Having been a member of a legalistic "cult" for nearly 30 years, then a member of a PCA church for 12 years, and now a member for years of a SBC sending church, I have questioned Calvin's views and teachings for years. So, I'm sympathetic to both Arminian and Calvinistic views and both have their strengths and limitations. A couple minor comments in the video I found a bit ironic. At about the 2:39 minute mark, you say, "Well, I'm not a Calvinist. Never have been, never will be." Given the topic, your statement, the Bible’s complexity on the topic, and Pharaoh's hard heart, your comment seems a bit "hardened." That just brought a giggle. And that comment wouldn't be worth a post, except that at the 6:15 minute mark the curious statement is made that God is "forcing Pharaoh," language that even some Calvinists have difficulty using. I'm probably misunderstanding something. We all wrangle with this complex topic and our words to adequately understand and communicate the concepts.
