- Hi everyone,
This is just a quick video on showing you how to change your Cabin Filters on the BMW E63/E64 chassis. But more importantly is how to fix the creaking noise that you might get from behind the dash.
Hope you all find it useful! - Авто та транспорт
Awesome video! Came here for instructions on changing the cabin filter. Appreciate the insight about the noise! Will get it done as well!
Thank you very much! Not a problem at all I'm just sharing the info and happy to help out 😊
The creaking sounds started a year or so ago. Thank-you for the fix. I will be tackling the job soon!
I have been wanting to tighten these bolts for a while because I had a feeling that it would eliminate the cracking noise, but I wasn't sure if that really was the issue. Now after you have tried I will get it done soon!
It is definitely a must! Takes only 30 mins but will change the driving experience abs honest I feel the car is so much tighter on the front end it drives with a lot less flex now
Very helpful. Straightforward and informative. Thank you so much for the effort.
No problem at all, glad I could help and thank you for being kind enough to leave the comment 🙏

BMW650I 2007 My question would be DO these 6 series particularly have AC filters under the dashboard? Or just the micro filter as shown in the video footage? Although I don’t have any issues with AC cooling as I just have gas vacuum and pressure test before adding gas using the machine to insure accurate gas in the AC system. To summaries; apart from the micro filters replacement! IS there any filters in the cabin within the dashboard area or not? Thank you.
