So, this was super, super helpful. Sometimes when I see an SMB playbook or trade review, I get almost overwhelmed. But this helped me see that a retail trader can still do a really great write up that is definitely useful. I like that you (Lance) even said to create the shorthand you need to make it less painful. Not shortcuts, but shorthand abbreviations, etc. Also, had to bust out at “…the 50 beers it probably takes Sam to get drunk.” 😂
And i dont even trade stocks neither do i understand anything about trading stocks. Just watching the video for Lance, for the person he is. Inspiring!
Thank you so much for posting this Lance (and Sam for letting others watch this). This was so helpful. All these little details all add up to a professional approach to the markets that we can adopt in the retail world to just keep adding to the edge.
Lance and Sam, thanks for doing this! Hoping to carve out more time to mature my playbook to take it to the next level. This is the inspiration. I need to find a pod and a mentor in IU, I love the idea of working in a group to help lift each other up. I hope that will help me as well. Great inspiration gents.
Nice writeup by Sam and commentary by Lance. I was wondering if we could see a writeup from Lance but this works just as well. Love to see what a prop world writeup looks like. I have done these writeups in the past and my question is how often do you do these writeups. If you trade 5-6 stocks in a day, are you going to this level of detail for each trade? Also, to what degree are these completed before the trade and after the trade. Great video!
very inspirational. I am very grateful for all that you do amazing work, watching this all I think is that I can do more. god bless you. lance you changed my life for real!!!
Good trader knows how to follow rules, great trader knows when to break them! While watching the review I was wondering: wait, Lance usually prefers the price to break D1 low for capitulation trades, until Lance explained the nuance in this particular trade of overextension of price and huge volume on the blow off day. Thanks Lance, really appreciate it!
Good Content, Guys… It’s always nice to see a review with lots of great information in it. I got two 8 hour flights to NYC and an addition 5 hrs to Vegas, in 2 weeks time.. Looking forward to seeing you guys🙏🏽🙏🏽
It is something I am starting with: categorising chart moves and plays. 17:50 So far on Drive: Folder with Stock type, move type, move size, catalyst/no... Image file with date ticker and move description... Gotta try Evernote. Painting in positions with colour circles is a good idea! My 2nd DRC today btw!
When journaling entries in this manner with something like Evernote or OneNote, how are you leveraging these entries to look for patterns or common themes? Seems like a sortable database might be a better tool? I need to do a better job journaling (love the suggestion of a template), I'm just not sure how to use these entries efficiently once I've collected them all. Thanks!!
this is super helpful. I have a suggestion that can you create a free discord for retail traders so that retail trader to share, meet ,and learn from each other? 🥰
I'm really becoming a huge fan of yours after seeing you on humbled trader. I'd love to become a day trader. If you'd be willing to be my mentor, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm ready to be able to give my children the life that they deserve. Only dabbled a little with binary options so far.
Hey lance can you made a community for traders in any social app it would be helpful for us to interact each other and help themselves to become a better trader. Thankyou
I don’t like to self-promote, but people are forming pods right now on my Patreon. $50/mo and 100% proceeds go to charity. huge trove of good content on there anyways. (Patreon.com/theonelanceb)

Thank you 🙏 will work on a temple soon. I felt good guessing the volume question, loved the question style, it gives the audience a chance to think.
