You fod in to two and stitch,and after stitching you still have 50 length how did you do that, because I think it supposed to be short, please I don't understand that part, thanks.

The total length is head circumference plus 6 inches and the width is 12 inches. So I am joining both ends together to get a round shape. The length will be around 1 inches less when u measure round. I hope u get me
