I've tried this game today. It totally worked. The kids were excited to tag each other. I didn't set any time limit, we just played 3 rounds as a warm-up activity. My class has girls from grades 6-8.

I tried this game today with my 8th grade classes and they loved it !!! Awesome for warm up or ice breaker !!Will be using again

yeah. That seems to be the case. Some modification is necessary. K-2 works. but any older and they catch on and interest wanes.
