Attack on Titan is in the WW2 era, and Eren is Hitler.
Yet the Marleyans were based off of the Nazi’s and their treatment of Edlians is not unlike the Nazi’s treatment of Jews. I think Eren is the immoral and impossible retaliation to racism and war in human nature. IMO, you’re pretty far off. This is a fictional story with real life influences and comparisons. I feel Isayama really just wanted to go balls to the wall with Erens character and his “freedom from enemies” goal and took the series to a level outside realism and morality.
