Ed, you're doing an incredible job! These people are like robots playing out a script. Unfortunately that seems to be the case for most humans in general. They just follow the program. That's why we need to change the program like you're doing, getting into the mainstream media and repetition seems to be the best way to get through to the crowed.

Science made up with food questionnaires is too weak to prove anything. Vegans most of the time are more health conscious, doing sports, avoiding sugar added junk food. "Meat Eaters" in all of the studies are only consuming 20% of their calories from meat, the rest is from toxic plant oils and sugar with a ton of carbs, the SAD, the reason why America's life expectancy is in decline.

Why do you think it is a problem or a contradiction for humans to have different moral values for different animal lifeforms? Humans put more moral value towards other humans than said any other animal typically. Perhaps you're suggesting that humans should put equal moral value into all life that under the animal kingdom? I personally think such a position would be complete and other nonsense but I'll be willing to hear out your case...

It's so weird when people try to wave their burgers in my face. They think I'm going to give up my years of devoted veganism and healthy living for a hamburger. Even if I didn't care about the health effects or morals, if I haven't eaten meat in years, chances are, I'm not craving it or even slightly interested in eating it.
that's true, in fact after about 2 months not only did I no longer crave animal products but they vegan to taste and smell absolutely horrific. People don't realise that our taste buds can completely adapt

But again those animals were raised in sh*tty conditions so people are eating microsized feces from their chicken and they don't know even know it. It's so sad lol. What keeps me a strict vegan is for the animals. I became a vegan because I had a horrible health concern, raging eczema. I wished I was dead. Going vegan, Whole Food plant-based cleared it up for good in about 3 weeks. Nothing else worked . I also lost over 15 pounds I carried all my adult life that was excess weight. Digestion problem I had for 10 years vanished. It's been 3 years since I've gone vegan. Vegan for the animals, for the planet, for my health. It's a win win win.

The casomorphins are in milk to create a bond with the calf so they keep doming bac to feed. It's hugely concentrated in cheese because the water is removed. If you like cheese, you'll LOVE heroine. Question: I was close to a straight up carnivore for 35 years. I saw a super short video of a turkey running to a school bus to greet the little girl he lived with. Now i've worked with animals my entire life and treasure every moment with them. I stopped foot traffic at work today to relocate a Caterpillar that was about to be stepped on. I keep dog leashes and treats in my truck for stray animals at all times. But yet, I ate meat three meals a day. That dang turkey changed everything, seeing his emotional capacity.
So being a vegetarian for two years was a CAKE walk! Cheese was my passion right out of the womb. I felt zero deprivation.
Then came the Fairlife Farms under cover operation and the"Dairy is scary" video. A switch flipped right after the video on June 27th with no desire to consume anything I previously loved. Sorry for the novel but my question is obviously my latency to grasp what I was doing was so wrong due to lack of knowledge. Therefore how do you tolerate friends and family that refuse to even educate on the topic?
It is a problem most vegans have and one of the most frustrating one. Don't expect the people close to you, like your friends, parents, children and so on, to understand you or to change anything. Most people don't do something because of facts, feelings are more important. Leading by good example and sometimes ask a question can be helpful.
Far right parties use do-gooder (or „gutmensch“ constantly as an insult. Like there’s anything bad about trying to be your best version lol

I'm new to this channel and new to a vegan lifestyle. I have only around 2 weeks without eating any animals. I'm getting certified as a yoga teacher, so, I've been surrounded by non-violence and compassion oriented philosophies for a while now, meaning that my transition to not eating animals was only natural. I loved your channel and your activism. I was part of Amnesty International in Mexico for a while and my job was to recruit new donors and yet, I felt that the best results in that job was just to talk to people and awake their awareness even if they had completely opposite opinions about some of the topics we talked about. What I hated the most of that job was my superiors telling me that certain people were not worth my time; after all, my job was making money, not awareness. They even called that bunch of difficult people "vampires" because they only waste your time and energy and they assumed that they would never change. In my opinion, that kind of people are the ones that need to be confronted, not in an imposing kind of speech were you assume that your truth is a universal and inflexible truth but pretty much as you approach to people through dialogue, maintaining a respectful and compassionate attitude regardless of what the other party has to say, specially when they turn all violent and close-minded. Only then, a window of opportunities is open so everyone can learn and make conscious and educated choices in life.

I would imagine all of the trolls had to pause this video many times so that they could write everything down. So much information for such little intellect. Unfortunately internet trolls suffer from many psychological issues which stem from the chemicals induced into the meat that they eat. So sad :( I also recently read a doctors report that internet trolls suffer from a disease called “TBD” (Tiny Brain Syndrome). No need to worry though, it’s not contagious. Keep up the Fantastic work Ed!
The ones I get that are most rhetorical (for myself) are from other fellow vegans asking me not to share footage of the animals that are being harmed, which vegans aren’t contributing to and are trying to prevent from being harmed. Second best would be the ones from non-vegans taking my words and twisting them when I say something along the lines of ‘no animals were harmed in the making of my meal’ taking that as me trying to make them feel guilty or that I’m trying to call them a bad personal when the reality is that I just was and am proud to be able to say I caused the least amount of harm in how I obtain prepare and consume my food. Prior to first hearing that I actually never had any thought or intent to make someone feel negative about themselves over their own choices, I was only speaking of and would be referencing myself and my choices and taking pride in the effects, or lack there of, of my own personal choices and actions. Keep up the great work Ed!

A guy I had never met before came to me and asked "You're vegan innit?" I said "Yes". He then took out his phone and showed me pictures of a steak in various stages of consumption, describing how good it tasted and how it was "still bleeding" when he ate it. I humoured him and told him he did a great job cooking that so perfectly. He looked deflated, put his phone back in his pocket and didn't want to engage with me anymore. Pathetic.

You could say that’s exactly what rapists and murderers do. They care more about themselves than the victim. Rapists use sensory pleasure as their justification for their immoral acts as well. If there is a victim then it is an immoral act. Also selfishness is weakness. It’s incredibly easy to be selfish, but that’s weakminded. It’s much more fulfilling to care about others, even if it is more difficult.
I would probably say that I find that very disturbing about him, and would rather not have known because now I see him differently.

People keep telling me they have a friend who went vegetarian (not even vegan) and got sick so he/she had to eat meat again...and I'm like..."you do realise that I haven't eaten meat in 18 years??"🙅🙆🙇

Hey I love your videos! Many of them have shown me how to stay level headed in certain situations and to focus on educating/awareness. There is a lot of misinformation imbedded in heated arguments. I was wondering if you had any tips for a younger person in a non vegan household? I am currently vegetarian and I feel like it's the best I can do in my current situation but if you have any tips I'd love to learn more. My several attempts to educate my family haven't worked :(
