This question that He poses is FLAWED. Because "The Universe" IS Time AND Space! You can't ask about ONE without the OTHER. You can NOT exclude Space from the Time and ask about them separately because the two things are a PART of the WHOLE "Universe". One can NOT exist without the other.
Also "TIME" is a Relative concept. And the "TIME" that he is asking about does NOT exist UNTIL the Universe BEGINS to Exist. Before The Universe BEGAN to exist Time is a Different CONCEPT just like we are going to Live in Jannah or Jahannam FOREVER. Whatever Forever means. This concept is just an IMAGE of what we can assume based on our finite understanding of TIME today.

Wrong man, a meta-time can exist before this time. Consider another bigger clock which was running before the big bang (if that's the origin of this universe) and that clock is still running. I'm not saying that this meta-time is real 100% as we have no proof yet but it's a possibility.
A god loving person must believe in this meta-time as God couldn't have done anything without that time but if you are godless then it's ok to assume nothing exists (not even a time) before the big bang.
Even your God created the universe in some days hence he is bound by some earlier or primordial time and space (hence not a god in the first place).

I've been Muslim for 16 years and probably for a good half or more I was reciting Al fatiha in English . And actually you get more reward the more difficult to you have even when it comes to speaking Arabic for praying 100% properly. You just keep trying to learn and improve in shaa Allah

I have re watched the segment with Rob. Honestly it's just such a strange approach. It's as though he thinks we have full objectively true access to EVERYTHING in history which is patently rubbish. He makes all sorts of assumptions and conjectures and imposes it on the Qur'an. He thinks you need to prove everything historically and if you can't it automatically means it's false. When he himself can't prove it's false. The waffle makes it worse.

I've listened to Desi Mundi's interaction with Imran again. I'm going to reiterate why Desi couldn't get Imran's point. Imran stated that believing in God is self evident much like the fact that we exist or that we are conscious, at least to the majority of people. What Imran was asking was what evidence could you present to make one doubt God, his own existence or consciousness. For Desi to undermine self evident truths, he needs to present evidence or good argument why one should not hold to self evident truths. Desi thought the burden of proof was wrongly put on him - It wasnt. Desi kept insisting that Imran has the burden of proof to prove God. Self evident truths do not need proof as that's the very definition of self evident. The only option would be solipsism, but then you would have to doubt reality itself and the concept of truth.

For Frank to answer your question - You obviously don't realise the first Qibla (direction for prayer) for Prophet Muhammad pbuh* and the Muslims was Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem up until the 2nd year of Hijra (623/624AD). Prophet Suleiman (as) rebuilt Al Masjid Al Aqsa with the help of the local indigenous population and next to it he built his palace.
