You gotta remember this wasn't done in a studio with all the high tech gear. Her voice is so good and so pure she just doesn't need it. So I give credit where it's due, and others should to. And what else is funny, being friends with her boyfriend, and hearing all the break up songs she writes, kinda the nature of the genre, but still.. And of course the voice multiplies all that.

I have heard HUNDREDS of people cover this song. I have heard Dolly perform this song, but this is hands down the most amazing most beautiful rendition of this tune I have ever heard. That's her Daddy on guitar, I love how they're both just sitting in this little cabin in the woods, and she just opens her mouth and blows the roof off! Since then I've seen a hundred remakes at least, but this one is by far the best. I only wish Dolly would see this someday & helps little sis out. ♡
