People don't realize this is "Eko Atlantic to Dangote Refinery highway" and not "Lagos to Calabar highway."

You said it all, the main purpose of the road is from Eko Atlantic to Dangote refinery , free trade zone and the new port

The initial EIA won't be available. Dave Umahi will produce a totally altered or botched one, if forced to provide it. They rush that project without any final approval...no public consultation and no actual EIA

Arise, it's not a huge blow to tourism in Lagos or Nigeria. Please move on to another storyline. Landmark is not the only affected business along the pathways.

The benefits outweigh the cost so 👍🏽 good job to the Federal Government. We need that road ASAP. It should have been done already many many many years ago imagine no direct road from PH-Lagos, Calabar to Lagos etc that’s preposterous. No more being affected by Monday lock downs in the east now when we from the Niger Delta travel to Lagos. 😃

Oga... reseed your English. The beach is not going away!!! You have 700 miles of beach use another.

Sorry to say or burst your bubble it is turtle and not tortoise! However they ( sea turtles) do come and lay their eggs on the beaches in Lagos! Am not saying Landmark beach and nor was the report about landmark beach it was about another beach ...tortoise come very late at night or early hours of the morning, speaking from experience we have seen up and down the coastline....

@@anyanwuemmanuel1606yes it is what we need. We are tired of driving through Monday look downs in the south east to get to Lagos or Abuja from port harcourt, Bayelsa etc now we can go direct from Niger Delta/South south straight to the South West and vice versa or even to the North central without having to go through South East that’s a welcome development.
Also, the businesses and development that will come around this road in Lagos, ogun, Ondo, delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa ibom and Cross River. That’s wayyyyy more valuable than just land mark and good beach alone

Can you give up already Arise News? Is Landmark Beach the only beachfront in Lagos State? The best natural beaches are not even in that part of Lagos. It's crazy how Nigerian elites are making this out to be a tourism tragedy. Now they're trying to put an environmental spin to it? Imagine Nigerians talking about the environment. We need the coastal road more than we need any one or two recreational beaches. Let's hold the government accountable and make sure that the road gets completed in reasonable time.

Arise news love controversies especially the one that seem to be pro east. You dont realize you are in yoruba land with different perceptions and particularly lagos state indigenes, and they are entitled to be heard. I lost respect for that idiotic reuben when he interviewed omahi and started talking of some people who were asked to leave lagos. Tomorow now when an elder stateman is mentioned he will show his face. Someone who wanted to deputise a well known drug lord?
