    Can you show the back of your unit in a video? Just to show the blend etc. Super curious how your hair stylist makes it look. Thanks!

    I know this is going to sound weird but... travel neck pillows I found one that snuggly wraps around my neck. It's actually super comfortable even eliminated neck pain from sleeping wrong on a normal pillow. The pillow basically rolls around with me only ever touching the lower part of my hair and neck of course. I swear most days i wake up and it's still perfectly styled.

    Hi Curtis great video... The 1st video I ever watched from you was the silk pillowcase game changer for me. I've added an additional item to Reducing the wear and tear and just before going to bed I sprits a little bit of Blue Max daily refresher

    For styling now I only use a detangler comb (big comb with very large tines that are widely spaced) so as to not pull out as many hairs from the cap. I even bring it with me if getting a haircut from somewhere new, because they’ll often try to drag a regular comb through it, which is a total no-no. Also, I wear a gator (one of those stretchy circular cloth bandanna-type things) around my head to sleep to support my hairline bond and hold my hair in place. Removing old adhesive with solvent to prevent pulling hairs through the wrong side of the cap is also very important. Let it sit as long as needed, and heat helps as well to soften the adhesive. Shea Moisture brand 100% virgin coconut oil daily hydrating finishing oil serum is a total go-to product for me. 2 pumps on my hands worked evenly through damp hair makes it so easy to style and keeps it hydrated, and it doesn’t deactivate my front bond or rear adhesive strips, as oils, detanglers and conditioners can do, as long as I apply it right after a wash and a good 24 hours before washing or rinsing again. It’s also nourishing to the hair strand.

    I would also like to suggest what I use when I sleep, I have silk lined head caps that I wear at night. I tried the pillowcases but they slide around a lot and were annoying. Give the head caps a try, you might like them better. Thanks Curtis for your channel, I appreciate you

    Hi Curtis, great videos and very informative. Quick question, is it okay to sleep with hair products (ex. Pommade) on my hair system or do I need to rinse it with water?

    hey Curtis, I've had a reoccuring issue with poly base units darkening over time. it doesn't matter if I wash it or not, even a new unit install will get dark on the hairline in 4 days to the point its noticeable. i had one piece where the poly darkened noticeably after washing it when it was new before the first install. i feel like i am missing something or doing something dumb to cause this. any suggestions?

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Carlos, could be a few things. If the base is dis-coloring like yellowing it could be too much abrasive chemicals on it. If its color, like hair color, could be a dye in a shampoo your using. Or the conditioner may have a dye in it. Like "color treated" shampoo may have something with a tint or a toner in it that causing it
      Hope that helps

    Great video again I have followed these steps and I'm good way above +50% in longivity above expected/promised. I do also spray pH2,5 - 5 water daily in my hair and it is still saloon fresh daily!! That acidic water makes wonders to the hairsystem. I do have a Alkalizer water machine that makes me the pH2,5, but it works also with carbonated water (it's acidic around pH2,5 -).
