Probably because of the similarity with Clocks and remember when Speed of Sound first came out and everyone complained it sounded similar to Clocks? Maybe because of not as good reception as Clocks and anyway, X&Y was considered inferior to A Rush of Blood to the Head.
It's because when they orginally recorded the song Coldplay didn't like the sound of it. They Love the song they just didn't like the final version. They have been asked to sing it live and put it right but they feel the audience would pick up tension or something so they refuse to sing it. Chris even refused to sing a little of it in a radio interview. Personally I love the song. :)
