So excited to see the beautiful fall colors! That was one thing I didn't think there'd be much of in Anchorage. I figured it'd be mostly yellow aspens similar to Colorado and not much else. But I was sooo wrong! And that makes me even more excited to move there as soon as I'm able. The colors are phenomenal and it seems everything is at peak all at once. So, so beautiful. @@AkEve11 I can't wait! Peak fall colors for me aren't until early-mid November and the color change is very staggered. By that peak time, many tress have already changed color and lost most of their leaves, so it's not as pretty as it is in so many other places. Then a hurricane or nor'easter usually blows every leaf off the trees the moment they finally look pretty. ☹️
