I have a 2008 Jetta with 108,000 miles with the 2.5 as well. I love this car. I live in nyc and it’s the perfect machine to just zip around the Brooklyn towns or Manhattans busy streets. Can’t afford a Mercedes or BMW but you want a German vehicle? Volkswagen is the way to go for the comfortable nice upholstered seats. Upholstered seats that have seat warmers. Japan wasn’t doing that. Although I 100% agree with you on the body roll of the car. Hitting the curve too fast and will make you think “what’s wrong with this car?” Weird quirk but it’s not the end of the world. Sway bars! are the best solution to feel a better and more engaged driving experience, I equipped my Jetta with front and back ECS tuning sway bars. These sway bars changed the cars attitude completely. It’s really how the Jetta should of came from the factory. But great vid man. 👍🏼
I bought a 2008 volkswagen jetta with 223k miles its been 6 months im on almost 250k miles no problems at all expect brakes and tires no engine or inside problems and i use rhis car to deliver all day everyday
I know I'm late but can you give me any idea on how to fix the p2181 code. The car runs smooth but my coolant keeps disappearing, I can't see any visible leaks.

Thank you for the feedback! I’m sure the sway bars make a noticeable difference for the Jetta
I have one in Uruguay. 2008 "Vento" is called here. 100 K miles 2.5 Tiptronic. Amazing machine. Vento Luxury Wood is the version full name

Do u still have it ???
This guy is phenomenal great video!!
My 08 Jetta has 235k miles and still runs smooth. Sure some parts had to be replaced over the years but it’ll get you from A to B and great on gas!
Does it have the DSG transmission?
Agreed, because these Jetta's with the 2.5 L five-cylinder engine are the best for daily use.
@@jwhdesign No, it only has the regular six-speed automatic transmission with sport and manual-shift mode.

How does this compare to a mk6 Jetta. These cars are pretty fun with the 2.5 5 cylinder and the manual
Fair review. Could've been a smidge hight in my opinion. However, seems pretty well on point.
I got 172k still rolling small oil leak but damn it rolls
Getting mine soon ❤
Get the 2.5 Tiptronic
I’m looking at a 2.5 Jetta
I got Mines Today, With a 97k milage on it. Nice thanks.
