I like the technique of leaving parts of the works unfinished: besides involving the viewer to participate in the mental completion of the work it conveys a sense of mystery like archeological find in a remote desert somewhere. It gives it a timeless appearance and leaving the materials out in the elements to rust and weather adds to this feeling. Very good work.
Yep, basically, there's not much if anything at all that's truly an original idea, I'm often thinking 'I've never seen anyone doing this' etc only to do a quick search to find more than a few vids or tuts on the same thing lol, Never stop pushing the boundaries though, or trying to improve on a technique whether it's yours or someone else's ;@)
this is so old hat now ,,,, soon chicken wire will head the same way too ,,, trouble with this technique is that its easy ,,,, monkey see , monkey do , ,,, well done to who ever made the first one ,,,, but ive seen this done with nuts , bolts , washers , bike chain , so many things ,,, you can buy this stuff off e bay these days ,,, not knocking any one , just mentioning the facts.
