15 November 2023, Good evening from the Atlanta Georgia area. I have 23 fragrances and 17 are niche fragrances. I blind bought everyone of them. Matter of fact, I'm wearing 40knots today with 5 sprays. I put the fragrance on around 7am and time now is 6:12pm, it's still going strong. I just think I'm going to start purchasing more and more Xerjoff fragrances. I can not go wrong. I listen to fragrance reviewers and when it comes to Xerjoff fragrances, ALL of you guys say the exact saying. you provide great videos. Please keep up the great work.
Amazing video! Gets me excited to wear this on that sunny day! I also write enjoy L'humaniste - not as citrusy but it has a freshness which brings me joy.

I could't hold out any longer and went ahead and purchased Naxos from Fragrancebuy Canada. Can't wait to have it joining Rennaisance & Zefiro in my collection. As a side note, I've noticed that once Zefiro reaches its full drydown, it reminds me of Tauer's LADDM. Can't wait for your next video on this series.

Great review! Absolutely love this fragrance. I think it’s misleading with that strong opening. But I’ve grown to love that part. It just continues to blossom and shift in beautiful ways as you wear it. Complete art.

im from aus as well. picked up mine from libertine store. as soon as i smelt it and saw and felt the quality of the bottle and the cap and the smell, i just bought it without question. love it and will be looking for more xerjoff fragrances soon,. very expensive stuff but worth it.

I've been a lurker on people's fragrance channels for quite some time and I'm in several FB fragrance groups so I'm around quite a bit and I try a lot of stuff, so any information I get is valuable. I've had a great year of finally getting into niche and owning a lot of bottles and a friend of mine recommended your channel so I'm happy to learn more behind niche brands than what I have learned over the past year or so. 😊
@@Kenoji8 That's great news about getting into niche. It's actually a lot of fun (if you you're into smells/fragrances) the downside is that you need to hold down 7 jobs to pay for it all🙃....but hey, may as well spend it on something that brings you and others joy.
What's been your stand out hit/hits so far?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector -- Well it's based on how you get access to niche fragrances. I mostly have to go through discounters, like places like Kingdom Fragrances, or I have to go through FB groups at times, but I've been able to find some killer deals on some stuff. But yeah, higher end stuff from Electimuss and related brands, no no you need about 8 jobs for those, lol.
A few stand-outs that I have tried so far would be: Bois 1920 Oro (basically TF Tuscan Leather but more spicy and has very good depth), Zaharoff Signature Rose (the new standard for a rose fragrance that can be worn by men, I swear it is absolutely gorgeous what Claude Dir and George came up with), Nishane Ani (which is literally one of the best vanilla scents I've put my nose on), Rogue Perfumery's Mousse Illuminee (which completely blows your mind in terms of what you would even consider a fougere to be, like a fougere worn by kings back during the Middle Ages of European History), Zoologist's Tyrannosaurus Rex (which is an outstanding yet polarizing smoke-filled fragrance that clearly puts you into the environment of the animal and hearing its roar and desires for blood), and finally Christian Provenzano's Nuit des Noces (which is probably one of the most delectable gourmands I've ever indulged in in my life with like this brown sugar / molasses like jammy sweetness). There have been many others and a good many that I own, but those are some of my most transformative experiences.

I love Naxos, it is hard for anyone to fault it and of course it made me want to explore more. Renaissance and Nio are the smell I get after working on my citrus trees in my yard. Too much "green" in either for me. Maybe because my blood is northern Italian.

When I first smelled renaissance. It smelled like I literally sprayed lemon rind oil on my skin. Very strong, natural smelling citrus opening but then it develops on the skin and gradual transition from super citrus to a warm dry amber is everything. Somewhere in between you mellow like a lemon cream pie. I've literally had women fan themselves in front of me because the smell was so intoxicating. It is a masterpiece of a spring fragrance.
Whoa! Imagine the marketing tag line "Renaissance....Woman will fan themselves in front of you"😎 Xerjoff would sell thousands of bottle!
I've never had that happen to me😂 but have to agree with you that it's a fragrance that catches the attention of those around me.

Pour moi, « Renaissance » est un parfum agréable qui me fait voyager « dans le temps ». J'y décèle bien sûr : le citron, la mandarine, la menthe (un peu craintive), la cardamome, un peu d'anis vert, un peu de rose et enfin le bois de cèdre.
The stuff is beautiful on skin. Cirtus explosion is definitely accurate. I'm currently waiting on the drydown, but so far it's defintiely in the running for a purchase, especially considering the price at discounters.
So good that you're getting a chance to test on skin @asparceproton1, in my opinion this is the best way to test out a fragrance (what works on me, might not work on you)....plus so happy that you're enjoying Renaissance as I love recommending this perfume (it's magic)

I picked up Nio for this summer and it was amazing! Now as we get closer to Fall I’m very intrigued by Naxos and just blind bought it, can’t wait to try it! Renaissance sounds amazing as well but I may have to wait until next summer for that one since it doesn’t appear to be a Fall/Winter scent, obviously :)

I’m going to say that Renaissance will be an easy love. If you’re not comfortable with incense , then Zefiro might be a challenge. But if you like incense, then this is glorious…good luck Jaime
To me the problem with Renaissance is NIo. I was testing on my skin hero of the movie and liked it enough to buy a bottle.Day before I wanted to buy it I tested Nio and well I completly felt in love with it. Yes they are not the same but Nio just check's all the boxes for citrus fragrance, you cannot beat this one and it's safe to say it's a 10/10 fragrance. You can wear it casually but also works amazing with a suit or formal event's in the hotter day's. I know Nio is not a subject of the video but I am interested about your opinion if you tryied it or after you do.
But yeah Renaissance is amazing fragrance on its own and super long lasting for a citrus one :)
Hey Filip, so my crazy brain wants to complete 'Collections'....in this case Renaissance was always going to win (going up against Nio).
I'm going to test drive Nio again and see how it stacks up against Renaissance...I'll report back!

I think Nio is easily beaten by other freshies from Xerjoff. Personally I find Nio overrated.
How many sprays for Renaissance when worn? Is it more of a EDP or Parfum?
Got my eye on this. Got sent a sample when i bought Naxos and it was beautiful. Gets a lot of dislikes on fragantica though
In truth I never follow the comments on Fragrantica....I find that I can't personally trust them too much (I don't know why that is??). I find that they miss the mark (well at least to my taste in perfumes). Point in question is Renaissance. This fragrance is awesome. I actually recommended this to a friend recently and he LOVED it! It's a great summer fragrance

The dent you've put on your Naxos bottle (seen on your more recent videos) would have me guessing it's your favorite naxos or at least your most used.
If you've seen some of my other episodes I always try to steer away from highlighting 'favourites' in my collection....but, there are some that I'm constantly reaching for as an easy wear/easy love scents (and maybe Naxos is one of those😬)

Got my hands on a 15ml mini from a friend yesterday. Man, this is good! Just like you said, a citrus explosion with incredible sillage and longevity!
I like that it smells classy, though not outdated at all. This might be oddly specific, but to me it smells like the perfect fragrance for a summer wedding.

Absolutely! 2 amazing fragrances....have you had a chance to test Zefiro? This one is incense leaning, but a real showstopper due to the honey note that comes through. I know you're not an incense fan Daniel, but you should try it and see what you think....this will complete the trilogy for you😎

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I'm close to Houston Texas. I think I can go to a store that have some of the xerjoffs out on the counter to test. But it's an hour drive from me. It might be cheaper to drive there then than buying a sample. In case I don't Iike it. Can't wait to try it.

Naxos would be my recommendation. This is a lot more versatile/all year long fragrance. Plus I've found that it blends differently on different skin whereas Erba Pura tends to be Erba Pura
I would recommend that you test side by side (one on each arm) and see which one works better for you.

@@deepakmohan8792 They're two different scents, When I bought renaissance I was looking for a fresh citrusy scent at the time. My experience with Renaissance has been really amazing but its one of those Citrus fragrances that I try my best not to Overspray. Naxos in the other hand is soothing, warm, and reminds me of Pure Havane but a better version of it. Not sure if you tried it Pure Havane, but its in the same category. If I got to choose, I see myself reaching out to Naxos in the near future

Hmmm, tough question Mohamed
If you like more of a traditional "Cologne" style fragrance with a citrus explosion at the start with a wonderful green, fresh drydown then Renaissance is your one.
Fiero I find is a bit more complex and that Lemongrass on the opening gives the fragrance a wonderful twist and makes this beautifully unique. Drys down to a fresh woody place
The easiest answer is get both😉 as they are both unique and different to each other......hope that helps my brother👊🏼

How does thic compare to Nio?
I find that Nio is too strong on the Lemon (to the point that it's a bit 'candy' like). I like the green (almost lemon leaf smell) of Renaissance (I feel it leans better masculine)

Would you place Renaissance over Nio?
I've tried Nio and not as big a fan of this versus Renaissance. I find that the lemon note is a bit too strong for me in Nio and tends to stay longer. Whereas in Renaissance, yes it has a big blast at the opening of the fragrance but then the 'green' notes start to kick in and blends better with the citrus.
So yes, in short, my vote is with Renaissance. Good to hear from you @Delanie Jones

I absolutely love Renaissance and Naxos - they are beautiful......Naxos is superb for the cold here in London.
I really don't love Zefiro though.....i blind purchased it on the basis that i loved the other two but it smells like the stale wine at the bottom of a glass to me which is a real shame as i was really hoping to fall in love with it.
