Is not a must but is advisable...because some scrubs can be harsh on your skin so when you use too much pressure to scrub your skin you can actually injure the skin and cause inflamed hyperpigmentation on your skin so that’s why is advisable you wet your skin first apply little amount of your scrub and then scrub in a circular motion in order to be gentle
