The craftsmanship is outstanding! The best part is everything around him has it's own video. I have enjoyed going on his journey. If he can build this from wood then he can build a steam boat.

I believe Noah used tar from tar pits as the earth wasn't the pristine jungle we are lead to believe. As GOD said..."He shall toil to cultivate the land."I also believe he used "metal" tools as humans weren't "cave men" either.
Also his filter is not set right. Cloth or POTUS material at bottom. Fine gravel. Sand powdered charcoal more fine gravel sand medium stone then large leafs or cloth on top. That chunky charcoal isn't doing anything to stop microbes

Bad idea with the resin. Place your bucket in water for a while. The wood will absorb some water and begin to expand. So the wood will close the cracks in the bucket.
So much work. I think I won't take buckets for granted anymore. I wonder why people started using them, when it seems easier to make a pot out of fired clay?

What I find strange is that he already did a water filter system 2 years ago I think. It was larger but also used charcoal to filter.
And it's sorta pointless if you're going to use the same bowl for transporting the dirty water as you do to drink the filtered stuff
