Dare I say that I like the sound of the Harley Benton better? 😳 It's very "HiFi", and doesn't produce extraneous fret noise. The low end is also full and rich, almost piano-like.
Hi Jeff. Question: what is the weight of the Harley Benton bass? Someone told it was 17lbs and I find it VERY HARD to believe a instrument can be that heavy. But was told they’re not light either. I was thinking about getting one to add to my collection but me being 55 years young (😉) I don’t want no heavy weights on my back & shoulders. Thanks.
it's true for the weight, this bass is heavy, I'm 62 and I support it well, at home I play seated and live I always have 2 basses, this one and my moscato 7 strings which is lighter and be a 5 string or a Pbass fender, I change the instrument according to the musical context
jeff corallini Oh ok. Thanks Jeff. I do have a special strap for heavy basses. I can see myself ‘sitting’ instead of standing tho. I’ll explore other options but will keep an eye on the HB. Thanks again.😌👍🏾
