Loved your video, decor is always minimal and calming. 🍁🍂🍄 I was told if you put a few drops of orange oil in your mop water, it will repel spiders and other bugs. Also if you spray a mixture of water and orange oil outside around your house doors and windows, keeps out bug's. I'm going to give it a try, more so for the natural fragrance.
Does that bed in the guest room have a mauve undertone? It looks pinkish, but I can’t tell if it’s just the lighting. I know you don’t use pink so I was confused. I think smaller nightstands would look better in there. They just look crammed in there with the bed on that wall. I really like the rug in the entry way. Looks way more cozy and not so sterile.

You should use a rug pad under the rug as it will help with the sliding and protect your floors also.( I tried those corner grips and found they didn’t work great.

And I have gotten you to influence my husband, we now shop our house for switching things around our house to decorate or tweak our house! Thank you for inspiring me to do better!

OK I just saw on the comments where somebody said your mirrors would look good if you paint them black before you paint them black put them back in to the space with all the black accessories that you have brought into the space. I’d also wait until I found the picture that you wanted above the bed, and then decide do you really want to paint those mirrors black or not. I really miss the mirrors whether you use the old ones or you put something new in And maybe the big art picture that you want do what it looks like it’s missing on that wall but forget the green on that side. You shouldn’t put your dishwasher detergent in the bottom of your dishwasher. It dissolves in the pre wash, so your dishes are washed with just water. When the wash cycle starts that’s when your detergent is released.
If you switch out your bed frame in your guest bedroom to something black it will look a ton better (pull the black to the other side) Its not the cheapest option but would pull the room together.
Love your videos! Always so calming! Be careful using glass soap dispensers because if it slips it will crack your sink. We have a porcelain sink in our powder bathroom and I had a glass soap dispenser in there. We had people over and it slipped into the sink and cracked the porcelain! We had to get a whole new sink/vanity top because it’s all one piece! 🤦🏻♀️!!! So now if I do put glass in there I use a heavy duty sticky strip so it stays put!

Suggestion! I have 2 different ideas that are both opposite of eCh other, but both could look modern and nice! IDEA #1: What about a darker nightstand, with light lamp base and black shade? I think it would look moody and give more modern contrast. I'm not feeling the light shades. I have a couple of dark shades and they still let plenty of light filter out. IDEA #2 Moody dark wall behind bed and then light nightstand with dark lamp base and light shades.

Ashley, You mentioned you wanted to find art work for above the bed. One of my friends does this when she wants a unique piece of art she goes to the thrift stores and finds the size of framed painted art work she doesn't care what it looks like BECAUSE... LOL she goes to Home Depot and gets not spackle but that stuff that dries hard and it's white I can't remember what its called right now. Anyway she spreads that on the canvas how she wants it and she adds the colors she wants in it and if she wants that square larger piece glitter she'll add that to as well. Her art looks like high end pieces and she did it herself! She also does the same thing with clear shower curtains! She uses a staple gun to a large picture frame takes the old canvas off the frame. Then she staples the clear shower curtain onto the frame takes it outside and goes crazy with a very abstract masterpiece with the paint she uses! I just wanted to share! And those carpet grippers good idea!

Rub some wax paper on your closet rod it will prevent that squeaky noise and allow your hangers to glide better.
