Fantastic. Thanks 100 billion...!! I had hundreds of questions and you have answered them all. Now I feel safe in taking my two boys out to fish. Muchas Gracias...!!
Thank you so very much for this video, I am glad I watched it before buying my first tube. It was very helpful and reassuring. Sincerely, your fan from across the pond.
Good vid; enjoyed it. Lots of innovations for float tubes in recent years including rod holders, larger Styrofoam seats that keep you much further up out of the water, floating fish baskets and even depth finder mounts. Best wishes.
Thanks for that, very informative. I nearly bought a tube twenty years ago, after watching guys use them at Ravensthorpe. Now I'm in West Wales I've invested in a Lineaffe to fish the upland llyns here. Last week there was a huge rise to stoneflies, and although I caught plenty off the bank I was aware the better fish were filling the wind lanes. Next time they better watch out!
Thanks for the free instruction I have had some reservations about getting but after seeing your video I just bought one for myself for xmass and can't wait to get it over to Ireland where I live tight lines
Hey, I'm way late on this comment. I bought the FishCat 4. It keeps you up higher out of the water which is great for really weedy water. It also has the floatation type seat just in case. Great video, even if I am a few years late!
i have been floating for years with this tube and it's great , room for camping gear too. even in a big blow it,s no trouble, fast and safe. i spend up to a week paddling ,camping and fishing in this one . not as fast as the kayak but it will tour well down a big loch while fishing at the same time .
8:15 I notice that he was being very careful to strap in the rod but I saw no leash to save the rod if it comes loose. Go to a dollar store and buy a simple small dog leash.... Believe me...I lost 4 rods in one shot when I rolled a kayak and had nothing leashed even though I had 5 leashes with me...DUMMY!

I'm just the film maker, but from recollection I think the tube was a Shakespeare Expedition.
