He had oceans of space on his right with Yeimar free as the wind and yet he opts to go to his left when there are two Vancouver attackers in dangerous positions. I shouldn't have to point this out to someone who's supposedly a professional, this is all extremely basic stuff.

it was not a fun night in the stands. montreal aside it hasn't been fun to be in that stadium since the CCL cup. love ya Schmetz but this is hard to watch.
This is not the 2016-2020 Sounders. This team is miserable. They need a GM and A manger and a full rebuild. It’s time for shmetzer to go. Very undisciplined team.
Time for Schmetzer to go back to an assistant position. He was great in the beginning with his attitude and support, but he lacks leadership and discipline these days and its hard to watch.
The worst Seattle in history I mentioned from the beginning of the season that Sounders did not bring anything good, almost all the teams are well reinforced and Seattle is sadly not, they have also always had that bad game near the goalkeeper and those mistakes end in a goal How was last night💔😞

Losing to Vancouver is rough but two rd cards in inexcusable. Holding on to the same manager for nostalgia's sake isn't a good idea, time for him to go. Roldan deserves to be punished severely for that tackle, he could have broken his leg.
Sounders need a rebuild, undisciplined, long build up and no intensity or will to fight.

Frei has become the least clutch goalkeeper in mls. He lets in easy near post and overhead goals and if by some miracle he gets a hand to the ball he bats it into the 5 yard box.

ATTENTION SEATTLE SOUNDER FANS: Seattle is a dirty team. Even when they play exibition games against the likes of Manchester United, they engage in these cheap shots that can potentially injure a player. Cut it out. And you lost this game because you went a man down after #25 was red carded, along with two give aways by your defense near the top of the box. And another player near the end of the game got a straight red as well for a blatant and dirty foul.. I hope the league fines you heavily, along with the suspensions. There is no place for this in the MLS. Your coach should be held accountable as well for letting players conduct themselves in this manner of dirty play.

Not any more so than any other MLS team. MLS is a physical league, whereas the Prem is a technical league. It comes with the territory. Besides, you can't fault the whole team for the actions of a couple of players.
