I used to watch this is a child and teenager. I have been wanting to see it for a while now so I thought I'd search! I even remember the meal i ate while watching this many years ago; a microwaved korma, very nice it was! I can actually remember what it tastes like.

Well this is amazing. It's probably been twenty years since I've seen this.
The grasshopper is actually a katydid,hence the long antennae. But either way,they die off at the end of the year after breeding.
This isn't the version of the story I saw in elementary school and was hoping to find, but it's still good anyway.

I had this on VHS like 20 - 25 years ago^^ There was 4 or 5 other short stories like this on it
Yeah there was, there was cinderella, the one about the monkey who wanted to rule over everyone which was in two parts and this!
