- Let's Build a Zoo continues and we begin to investigate clever sciencey things like genomes! These are some sort of DNA type thing that reveal the genetic structures of our animals and with a bit of selective breeding and rescuing animals from the shelter we're able to start mapping more genetic structures of both our rabbits and our geese!
The clever science people also give us a fantastic offer to begin splicing some animals together, despite us not having the full set of genomes! We get a choice of two pairs of animals to splice together and it's not an easy decision.
Our zoo continues to grow as we welcome some more new animals and we sort out the hospitality area. Using our research points we're able to unlock exciting things like mini-fountains and a pretzel shop! We also investigate the costs behind our shops and discover some horrifying truths about how we make our hot-dogs.
Also we donate some of our animals to other zoos, we are given a task by a certain Knight of the Realm and we fail to solve the mystery of the three different types of janitor...

Fun video! Don't forget to hire more zookeepers to feed and keep things clean in the pens. To zone them, click the zone on each zookeeper's info and click the pen(s) you want them to do. Or use the zookeeper heat map! The heat maps make it easier to see what janitors, zookeepers and bins cover and to assign people all at once instead of one at a time (the button by the world map).
Just a thought, birthcontrol is an option for the animals...now that you have the nursery, controlling "natural" birthrates might be a good Idea?

If you click on the animals, there is a little button you can flip that can activate contraception for an individual animal or apply it to the entire pen.
You can also use contraceptives with the animals, if there are any you wish to stop breeding

It reminds me Roller Coaster Tycoon. What make me buy a game was the option to modify recipes. In RCT I've always sold very salty food cheap close to very pricy drinks.

I could be wrong but there is a small difference in the graphic for Janitors
- it looks to me like some have brooms and two were picking up litter. - what is the 3rd ?
The “types” of employees refer to their sprite designs. You’ll see “new” on their pictures on the hiring screen.
Also, in the research menu when you click on the options on the left, it’s basically filtering the map. It won’t tell you what enclosures they are, but it lights up the squares so you have an idea of which ones to unlock on the map to get where you want to go.
peng occasionally misses details - makes we wonder if he is playing this on a really small screen, perhaps a phone or even a gameboy
