    Wow your strength continue to increase. Thanks for sharing another thought provoking video. Someone needs to tell Dani M. that you're catching up to her in bench.

    People worried about her knees only want her to drop the weight to feel more comfortable with their lifting. She is stronger than me when it comes to the squat and all I can do about it is - keep squatting.
    It’s up to Amanda to actually care about her knees and if she sustains some kind of permanent damage that is slowly accumulating over time it is her choice to worry or not worry about. Get off of it already.
    It’s sad.

    Amanda, dope post but you forgot the fact that beta-alanine acts as a buffer to lactate buildups in muscle tissue. Shows some performance increase!

    Just wanted to say that your tip on grip width when squatting has really helped me

      What’s the tip?

      @@THINKTHATIMKOBE it was from a previous video that she did where she talked about her squat form. It was her second video on this channel, and in it she said that using as narrow a grip as possible helped her get a better squat.

    USAPL is going to require us to wear a mask on the platform. Is that reasonable to you?

    A point for discussion is a conventional deadlift equal to a sumo deadlift? For mr the conventional is a higher range of motion and therefore the proper one?

    Hey Amanda!! when you said you had (si) did you mean you mean sciatica?! If so can you please make a video on how you delt with the injury or something you did for it that worked, because I currently have sciatica and Im trying to recover but also work around it! We’d and I really appreciate it if you shared what you did like tips, workouts, stretches, wether to apply heat or cold therapy etc! Thankyou! You’re a beast 💗

      I don't think sciatica is on the table here. SI most likely refers to the SI joint, which connects your spine to your hips and helps the body lift things. They can get inflamed and need physio to get sorted.

    I naturally have a lot of valgus too 😢😢 I've tried everyone to correct it but nothing ever helps ):

    • @michaelantolini8135
      @michaelantolini8135 4 роки тому

      Correcting valgus can be simpler that you may think. Consider a few things: hamstring strength (at the glute/ham tie in); glute medius strength and flexibility; quad strength and stability (at the vmo, the tear drop muscle). Consider foot position: slightly angling the foot outward (this is due to how femur is naturally positioned, its call femural torsion). Lastly, when you squat “force” for knees outward during both phases of the lift. Teach the knees to be in optimal position. I know this was relatively general answer, but I hope this helps

    She is not natural, lifts more than lot of guys. But am not hating, because everyone that competes uses drugs. Also she is my favorite powerlifter on women's division.
