Cabs Redone, Still OG ESCO Hydraulic Elevator at 6901 corporate Drive in Houston, TX. - 2024 Visit!

Video Recorded on June 21, 2024: If you guys have been watching me for a long time, you may recognize the software I filmed like almost a decade ago, so it is definitely time for an updated check up on this elevator here. Upon stepping foot into the building, I almost thought if this elevator was already modded seeing the brand new stainless steel hoistway doors, but thankfully not. It’s still original! Not totally original. The whole entire cab was fully redone, as well as the motor in which was replaced as well. Fixtures are still original, and you can still hear the relays. Talk about a half modification right there! But that is sadly not the case for 7001 Corporate Drive right next-door. Those elevators over there were sadly modernized by Schindler HXPress with MAD BS type fixtures. :( Such a shame that they modded those right next-door. Very shockingly bad I didn’t even want to bother wasting my time filming those recently modernized elevators. I do fear this could be next, but let’s just hope for the best. But thankfully enough, at least I got a fully updated video. Installed in 1978.

Ive ridden in a 1962 ESCO at South County Mall and that elevator was not acting right.
