Bought an identical red Bullet Strat six weeks ago (colour choice inspired by Knopfler), hoping I was buying something decent enough to learn on since I can't afford much else at the moment and had my heart set on a Strat. I've wanted to play for years but never got round to it somehow. I'm going through a particularly dark patch right now and decided there's no better time to learn... or as I wrote elsewhere recently, to channel my energy and emotions into something beautiful. I hadn't yet discovered your Bullet Strat videos (or your channel at all) when I made my purchase, and I'm so glad to have found them now. Thank you for the incredible music. :)
I love my seafoam bullet. Most reviews declare to replace the tuners immediately. Not necessarily. Mine was just an animal out of the box. Can't shoot down a good bullet. Thnx, Dave:)
So I'm a beginner and I really want to buy this guitar but the only thing bugging me are the people saying that the tuning heads are horrible and you'll need to upgrade them which again will add a significant cost to the guitar. I come from a very humble background and honestly I cannot afford a classic vibe or even an affinity strat. I want a strat that's for sure and after watching Dave's videos, I am feeling confident in the bullet strat but still this whole bad tuners thing is lingering in my head. Being an owner of the same guitar could you please tell me if should buy it or not ? Thanks in advance
@@Deepanshu412 The tuners are not as nice as a higher end but they definitely do the job for the price. Most people are just really picky or like to tinker. If for some reason you get a bad one, oh well then upgrade them bad boys I guess. In my opinion it's the perfect starter guitar. Just make sure it gets a setup if it needs one. Mine didn't. Looks rad too. You won't be sorry 👍
I love your soaring guitar work brother! I can feel God's beauty through it. Your opening sequence is probably one of the best guitar solos I have heard! Thank you!
Okay Dave, I’ve watched this video and the unboxing video more times than I can count. At first, I was wanting your honest opinion of the Squire and whether you thought it had the “basic bones” to be a good value. Your videos on this one have have blown me away! I subscribed to your channel long ago because I could listen to you play non-stop and I too, am an Orange Crush series geek. I will be looking into a Squire Strat as soon as possible. Probably an Affinity because I really need a Trem for surf stuff. Yeah, us old guys who grew up in that era still play Dick Dale and The Ventures tunes. Again Dave, Bravo for sharing with us.
Nice to see someone enjoying the bullet. I kind of felt bad that the bullet was my first guitar, I thought I should have bought an affinity instead, but this makes me feel a bit better about the choice I made!
Just bought a Sunburst Bullet because of you Dave- and LOVING it! Of course I wish I could get it to sound like yours! Need new fingers... Channeling Gilmour on this piece.
The funniest thing ive found is most of the time those £2000 Srats or Les Pauls sound terrible compared to the cheaper clones , as i used to own a 2007 USA Strat but my Squier Affinity Strat which embarrassingly came from Toys R us when it still was in existence in Milton Keynes sounded a lot better , no idea why that was but it did.
Hello sir good day, did you remove the string tree of your squier bullet? Why? Hope you notice coz i'm planing to buy bullet squier and i just want to know all about it. Thanks
I want to buy one bullet strat in order to have an inexpensive grunge gig( i have an orange crush 35rt amp) but there are plenty of youtubers who say that squier strats have some issues with the frets ...do u believe that i should buy one of these guitars just for nirvana tones ...thank you so much dude you have a great talent which i wish i had xdrd !!! Also would sss type of strats would sound heavy on high gain or should i find a hss guitar?
The neck of those bullets with some adjustments is as comfortable as my mim fender. The pickups and the tuners need a swap, but the rest of it holds pretty well together as a canvas for modifications. It's lighter too, just love it!
I am great AIR GUITARIST and have purchase a Squier Fender guitar and I have pedals and all.... but can you recommend how to get started as a beginner? Maybe you can make a video for me and my son.
@@andygogocomics Thanks man.
great review , and fantastic guitar playing
Damn that intro sent me back to the First Maiden album!....was waiting for Di'Anno to kick in!...superb!
Yep. Was thinking the same.
YES
Thank you very much. : )
I love your soaring guitar work brother!
I can feel God's beauty through it.
Your opening sequence is probably one of the best guitar solos I have heard!
Thank you!
I heard part of Never Fade in that jam! Awesome!
So great. You're my new guitar hero Dave! This is amazing - 3:07 onwards is just woah!!
Thank you very much. : )
Nice to see someone content and feeling good. Cheers man
Thank you very much. : )
My friend, that intro actually made me tear up. You really have a gift, Dave.
Wow that sound great!
Bought one , it will come tomorrow, looking forward, my first electric guitar 😃 I'm just a beginner with 46 years but it's so much fun 😁😁😁
Thank you. : )
PS: got totally caught in the entire video...sitting in my sunny garden floating away on your sounds man...What a trip!!!
Absolutely magnificent🎸❤
Thank you very much again. : )
Nice to see someone enjoying the bullet. I kind of felt bad that the bullet was my first guitar, I thought I should have bought an affinity instead, but this makes me feel a bit better about the choice I made!
Going to snatch one next week. Really looking forward to it thanks to your videos
Thank you very much and have fun. : )
Some of the best playing I've ever seen.... Simply Incredible. And on a £100 strat no less
Thank you. : )
Dave your making me late for work ……… cant stop watching awesome mate
Sorry for that but thank you very much for watching. : )
Barely 3 minutes in Dave and I have to say that I love your instrumental playing. Simply magnificent.
Thank you very much. : )
Just bought a Sunburst Bullet because of you Dave- and LOVING it! Of course I wish I could get it to sound like yours! Need new fingers... Channeling Gilmour on this piece.
Awesome guitar playing. Absolute art. This is a proof that you don't need a fancy guitar to be a ... Dave!
Great looking guitar love the colour
Hello sir good day, did you remove the string tree of your squier bullet? Why? Hope you notice coz i'm planing to buy bullet squier and i just want to know all about it. Thanks
The mods look beautiful,Dave.. I VERY much feel that this guitar is .. YOU! You enthuse & play it with a certain extra passion.. ;) X
I have just a question. Is the body of the "bullet strat" thinner as like as the "affinity" strat compared to the body of a regular stratocaster?
Yes man

Great playing. I want one of these cheap Bullets so bad. They just released a new line and the HSS model comes in a gorgeous shell pink.
Thank you very much. : )
Awesome playing dude! You make me wanna go and plug in, even in the midst of a very heavy strop. That's unheard of before today!
Thank you very much. : )
Gracias por hacer este video, la musica que haces es asombrosa!
I am great AIR GUITARIST and have purchase a Squier Fender guitar and I have pedals and all.... but can you recommend how to get started as a beginner? Maybe you can make a video for me and my son. I am a self taught Drummer and played Alto Saxophone all my youth for nearly 15 years! Played drums in various bands and would like to learn the guitar. Thank you Dave!!!!
Awesome intro brother....🎶
You take us all on a journey, such feel...🙏🏻❤
Who needs shreds.
Thank you very much. : )
