Read his letters to her after she left him. Read what she said about him. They adored each other and you saying they didn't doesn't mean much to anyone who knows. She is not buried next to him because his last wife wouldn't honor it. He loved Elizabeth. On August 2nd he wrote her a last love letter and said to her that wherever she was, was home, and he wanted to come home. He died on the 5th of August and she didn't receive the letter until she came home from his funeral. She couldn't help looking at him with love because she loved him so very much.

Funny thing is that Richard Burton kind of denied he was a welsh speaker, never spoke publicly in Welsh. But you can tell that from the song that he could speak Welsh really well.
