YEAH JIMMY THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING THOSE LAST FEW DAYS THAT ONLY JIMMY ELLIS IS CLOSEST TO MY SWEET ELVIS PRESLEY. ♥️♥️♥️. KING OF ROCK N'ROLL 🇺🇸🌹🌹🇺🇸
My family has a beautiful but bittersweet memory to this song. My grandma and grandad met at a bus stop at 16 in the 1950’s, my grandad shyly asked my grandmas friend to ask her on a date for him. My grandma replied she’d only go on a date with him if he asked himself, so my grandad did. They began dating. A few months in, they had a big fall out and broke up. My grandma soon began dating another young man, blonde and wealthy apparently (my grandad was brunette and working class). One day my grandad showed up at my grandmas front door, crying and pleading with her to take him back. She went back and forth in her head but decided in the end to split with the blonde guy and start fresh with my grandad again because she really did love him deep down still. They began dating again and never split. They married at 21, had three kids and lived their lives together. Apparently my grandad would tell my grandma every single day how much he loved her and how beautiful she was to him. In the 90’s, they volunteered at an aids charity and took care of people terminal with aids, I even now have a thank you letter one of the terminal patients wrote to them for how kind my grandparents were. During my parents divorce, my grandparents were like mine and my sisters second parents. I have fond memories of them both. My grandad picking me up from school, taking me swimming, helping me with hw etc… and me and my grandma going for walks alongside the canal where they lived. They even gave most of the money they’d built up to retire with to my mum when she almost lost our house during the divorce. My grandad had been a huge Elvis fan all his life and played guitar. In 2010, him and a guitar friend had finally saved enough money to go to Graceland, when my grandad fell ill. He should’ve been able to get better but due to hospital negligence which my family took them to court over, my grandad passed at the young age of 66. Looking through his music room after his passing, my mum and grandma found a piece of paper on his desk, my grandad had written the lyrics to this song on a piece of paper only a few days before he had gone into hospital ill. We played it at his funeral. My grandma lived with us for the rest of her life. She never remarried or dated again, saying my grandad was the only man for her and the only man she’d ever love. She would sit in her room alone and we could hear her listen to this song often on the tv. One Christmas around 2017, my sister bought a build a bear for my grandma which would play my grandad singing unchained melody when she squeezed its body. She would lay and cuddle it. Sadly my grandma passed from cancer in 2020 at the age of 76. Being devoutly religious, she said she wasn’t afraid of death and she was excited to see my grandad again but would miss all of us and wished she could have seen her great grandchildren be born. They are reunited now both physically, their ashes buried next to each other in the same grave and im sure they’re together in spirit too, for eternity now. Sorry for the rambling but these people really were and are my idols, these are the type of people that make life special and worth living. Rest in peace Derek horseman (1944-2010) Glenys Horsman (1944-2020) You’re together again now

Elvis, all of your fans would love to see you come back. Once the non-believers know what you and your entire family have been through, they will welcome you back with open arms. Hope you at least perform at the inauguration!
I have often wondered, if some of the songs on Doug Church's CD "Kingtinued" double CD set was really Elvis puttin` music out without his name attached. I know Doug had told me he was personally invited to Graceland in the early 1980s. I know Doug's voice and I really know Elvis` voice. I am a singer myself and I hear and pick~up on things. Just a thought... Shane
If Elvis had still carried on making love with Priscilla after the birth of Lisa Marie. Their love would have latest a lot longer. He finished his own wife by rejecting her after the birth of their daughter. How Priscilla lasted with him so long nearly six years. She really loved Elvis. He didn't want to make love with a woman who had a baby. So very selfish.
In first time the Pricila Presley was crazy, second all you say about Elvis, is the lie, should you study more about Elvis, because the all you write here, is the lie, kisses of Brazil
Very beautiful beautiful ❤️ song.
This isn't Jimmy singing. It really is Elvis. He is hiding in plain sight as Pastor Bob Joyce!
