I remember when John visited our church in Tampa and the men's group , The Wildmen, and my life changed when I applied faith in to finding my calling. Got rid of the entanglements. Six months of listening to the CD of John's sermon. To and from work. Also this was at a time in my life when everything felt was falling apart.... looking back, it was falling together. Our journey isn't always clear but having Jesus as our guide and strength was for me when I learned to trust God. Yeah, Dad is Awesome!

Last week in 2022 I was in Lindau front of Lake Constance at Nobel Prize Laureates with young scientists as I am. I was listening Billy graham sermons between two science gene sessions when I was convince to buy this book on numilog. I do not know that you were at Lake constance with your woman; When I was reading this part of your book I was in hotel (Hotel Bodensee or Hotel Bayerischer Hof Lindau) front of lake constance, at Dinner with one of Partner of this great conference. I know that God want to tell me something.

2. Your calling is progressive and not singular.
3. Your calling is now!
In Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please God.
Go to God in faith and believe HE will speak to you. For he that comes to God must believe that He is and seek Him diligently.
We walk by FAITH & not by sight!
Fast:
1. When in a fast minister to the Lord our God.
2. Pray. 1 John 5:14-15 God wants you to know more about your calling.
3. Read the scriptures! The word is like a lamp unto our feet and a light to my path.

How do we know that those 250 people that came to the alter actually truly got saved. Ray Comfort says that there are alot of false conversions. That alot of people aren't being preached the true gospel of Christ and are just told to repeat a prayer. Not saying anything against the basic theme of this message. Just speaking to the example he used.
Growing up in a large Assemblies of God church, it’s usually the same people every week that answer altar calls. It’s emotional reactions more than anything. Not genuine conversions.

I thought the whole time that my calling is in ministry because is it the only way to serve God. I did not know that God calls me to serve him in the world industry. How foolish I was ?
American-Christianity has most to believe that ministry is the goal, but that is so far down on God's list.
God can save people without us; He doesn't NEED people to get His Will done, although He does flow through those who are completely surrendered.
It's not about Doing; it's about BEING.
God wants us to be still in Him and to rest in Him and to have a Relationship with Him. Then out of that Being-ness in Love, Ministry will happen.
Ministry flows out of Love, not out of handing out tracts, cornering people......

@@jrog4771 may I ask how. I know that the word of God says “how can they hear without a preacher”. Everyone has to hear the gospel somehow in order to make the decision to come to Christ.

It is impossible to please God without faith... Please , doesn't anybody read it in context.. he is talking about having faith that ,"God is".... And that we diligently seek Him who we believe is..

Alter calls? Really? That’s not how you bring people to Christ.
My impression is this pastor is looking bring glory to himself and not to God. John Bevere is a nourishing tree? Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. Do a word study in the Bible on the will of God, and it says your sanctification (1 Thes 4:3), and that God will lead us in paths of righteousness for HIS name’s sake. Seek God and His righteousness, and you will have liberty in vocation. Seeking to find the right amount of faith or a specific calling is chasing after the wind.
