    That was a great tip on setting the design up to sew "center out" . Thanks for sharing.

    That came out really good. I like the way you set things up to get perfect placement.

      Thanks! Yea, thats really the tedious part of the whole production, is getting all the measurements nice and dialed in.

    I wish it was that easy, and the results were perfect when I do it. I need to practice so much more. Thank you as always for the great informative video.

      Very true, it is very tedious and one little mistake throws everything off. Practice does make perfect and after a couple of rounds and trial and error, you should be good. Thank you for the comment.

    itll be nice if Ricoma includes a camera above the needle so you can see the image in that area before you embroider.

      That was just cut away. I cut it with scissors around the design. Its not film.

    How did you get the artwork from Illustrator into Wilcom? Was there a shortcut you used or did you copy/paste, screen cap or something else? I know with Corel Paint/Draw there's a button to import/export between Corel and Wilcom but I don't see one in Illustrator. Thanks!

      I save it and export it as a jpeg and bring it into Wilcom.

    Can you do this ON the collar as well?

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  9 місяців тому +1

      You could as long as you can lay it flat and hoop it.

    Since you place your sweater on the machine backwards do you also have to flip your design?

  • @kaylacheng4349
    @kaylacheng4349 2 роки тому

    Do you need to take pictures of the sweatshirt every single time before stitching? Or I can reuse the picture? Thanks!

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  2 роки тому

      If you want to get it prefect around the neck evenly spaced I would take a new picture. These sweaters are very inconsistence on the shape that some designs may look off balanced.

    What tear away and cut away rolls do you buy? I’ve seen it in several of your videos but I don’t see anything in your description mention what brand it is or get it from?

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  2 роки тому

      The rolls I got from United Threads. I don't think they make the exact one that ive been using any more. The one in my video is a 2.5 oz smooth H/V. Im buying a new stack of rolls from either Gunold or Allstitch this week, I'll let you know what I got and what I think.

      Thank you for getting back to me do I have to buy the whole set or can I just buy the one ruler that you show that’s really all I’m interested in don’t see it separate on the website

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  2 роки тому +1

      It comes as a whole set. I also use mostly the straight ruler, but the T square comes handy every now and then.

    Mr. Romero, I hope you notice. I have been blessed by my mom with a chinese brand (yonthin) flat embroidery machine, do you have experience with those kinds of machines?

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  2 роки тому

      Embroidery machines all have the same concept. Learn the control panel and maybe download the manual online. Ive never worked with that brand machine.
