I was looking 2 buy the dvd, but i found it on youtube. Thank God. Now I need figure what is available on the local market and adapt his method to DIY situation.
+Russell Morton Probably custom to the industry, part of a c-stand, or mic stand. Would not be too hard to make or modify other components in order to have one. Check with a local music store.
I really don't like the way he does the multi-durometer liner. Relying on a scalpel to cut away at the silicone is going to result in a poor bond between the A20 and the A10. I would have instead done it by making those thicker portions with a keyed mold-insert that is left in place during the first injection, and removed prior to the 2nd injection. Using this design, you can have a prosthesis that has a thin but wide layer of the first silicone which can then bond much more securely with the softer silicone. This would take a little more labor than just slicing the silicone away as done here, but I feel it would be worth the effort.
I agree. I wonder if he chose to do as he does in order to make use of the liner he'd already made, rather than making a new one from scratch purely for demonstration purposes.
Thank you Wayne Koniuk for teaching us how to make a silicone liner...
This series is *really* well done.

What kind of adhesive used for gluing the silicon liner with outer fabric texture? Please let me know if anyone knew.
Sil-Poxy adhesive can be used for that application.

Are there any alternative materials to Pelite tm that can be used? I'm in South Africa and Pelite is extremely difficult to come across.
Coenievs, Did you ever come right with the alternative to Pelite? I'm also here in SA and so many great materials are unavailable!
