I am very surprised this lawyer ai app. In states like in State of Texas, it is very un-authorized practice of law (a criminal offence) to render advice (which needs legal prudence at any means) for exchange of any money. I don't know how they are able to do that without being this app owned by an attorney. This is why; I was working in gas stations in Texas because I was just a paralegal, not a lawyer and wasn't able to give any legal information in exchange of money. The only thing you can do is to perform legal research on a given issue and handed over to them. But, they have to decide what to do on basis of acquired legal research.

A student of mine submitted an essay that cited a researcher as writing a paper that didn't exist and was suggesting that this well-known research was working in a theoretical paradigm that she is opposed to. How do I know this? Because she was my PhD supervisor's MA supervisor. Sounds like a coincidence, but is it really? What I am an expert on is very specific and academic worlds are very small. Let AI help you organize your writing, but use your own ideas. Having AI write your paper is a huge risk.
