Plate Choke Construction And Installation 3cx6000a7 6 Meter 10kw pa

Here I show the Contruction and installation of the plate choke
Nylon bolt is 1/4 20 , I said 1/4 28
Even though not mounting to a panel at ground potential I still used the nylon bolt. I always prefer the nylon bolt when threading into teflon over a steel one. As a nylon one will not distort the threads in the teflon.
But you definitely never want to use a steel one if mounting to a surface at ground potential !!!!!

How many turns and what gage wire? Looks like about #18 magnet wire.

Sorry I do not remember off the top of my head.Plate and safety choke were both re wound. Can see re wound versions in later video.
