    As someone who bought an A6X2 a couple of weeks ago, I appreciate your suggestion of fewer notes and adding a page or more for each meeting. Thanks.

    I’m BRAND NEW to digital note taking on any level & just received my SuperNote A5X the other day. I’m in Australia so took a little while…. This video is excellent, even for someone like me who is brand new & knows virtually zero yet. Thank you!!!! 💜💜💜💜

    I just got mine A5X and I’m trying to figure out the best structure for organizing my files. I hadn’t thought about when to add pages vs new notes. This was so helpful, thank you.

    Would love to see how you are using your supernote now that you have had it a couple more months. I just ordered mine today.

    Thanks Niki. I feel your uses mirror mine exactly. I would love an update to this video that goes more in depth on how your usage has been over the past 8 or so months. Key learnings as well as updated usage. Is it what you hoped for? Are you impressed? How is the pen and screen holding up? Etc.

    Great video - like other comments, would be great to see an update 4 months later if you are using the same system or have changed anything? Mine is on order and your video was very helpful Video qaulity was excellent - never suspected a phone camera!

      I appreciate the comment! 😁
      I'm sure you're being sarcastic about the camera, and that's okay. All I had was my cell phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) and my office lighting. I'm holding the phone in one hand and trying to operate my Supernote in the other. 😅 I'll try and use a phone stand next time.

    The lack of a front light on the Supernote is really giving me pause on this. I'm 53. I turn on the front light on Kobo Forma even when in a really well lit room because of that gray background. Any thoughts on that?

      Tough to say… I always used mine in an office setting with strong overhead lighting. There is a way to adjust the brightness though. I would suggest asking in the Reddit or Facebook groups to see if there is any one who uses it similar to how you would. I always found both groups super helpful!

    Nice! How can you add to your notes a list of people you had a meeting with, and then search for instance all the notes related to that person or people for a specific project? Thanks

    Hello can you use it to scroll sideways for music sheets for when playing piano for example? Would you be able to upload a quick video of a sample music sheet?

    thank you for the review, i assume none of the pages that you show from your paper notes have anything confidential or sensitive in them because they are very readable in this video.

      Nope! I made sure what was shown is all public information. If you'd like to contact the tiny town of Hickory Grove or the town of Sharon, feel free. They might have someone working who could answer your call.

    To be honest it works if all you deal with is paper notes; you made a 1:1 conversion and this is great
    But if you are actually converting that into things like todo, deadlines, actionable items and follow up; you will go crazy with ANY of the standard note devices.
    Not a single one has a system to tie notes to deadlines or todo, not a single one has ways to create group of items (so in your paper case, if you have a note in your folder that has extra documents, you can just put the pages there, but you can't do that on any of the note taking devices, because notes are often their own format, unless you convert them to PDF and put them in a folder as documents), Also not a single device is able to understand the concept of progression... your projects progress, you remove things done and add new things to do and new notes, and this require changing dates and deadlines and it is ludicrous to spend 600 dollars for a device, when all you do is to erase things and add things by hand, if you ask me.
    Carrying around a tablet with things like onenote and organizers apps/project management apps is much more efficient and cost less; but in your case, if you need to port your workflow from paper to digital, I am sure it works great.

      My biggest drive towards an eink device is for eye health, that’s the sole driver to eventually get everything I would do with paper into a device like this. Also I’m looking for something to scroll and view music sheets while I play piano

    • @fcf8269
      @fcf8269 2 роки тому +1

      @@whydaksh Let me put things in perspective; so maybe the concept will be clear.
      Eink are great for your eyes; yes; but only if you use mostly eink display and not regular display. If you read a book or use the eink tablet for few hours a day, but the rest of the day you use a regular monitor/tablet and your phone, it is the equivalent of you trying to lose weight because you want to be healthy, and start eating vegetables once a week, while you continue to eat unhealthy food.
      It makes a difference overall? Not much; because just changing that won't counter the bad effects you get from the rest of the junk food.
      Or like people that hear that a herb tea can do something good for them, without realize that it is not just taking a herb tea that you fix a problem; that alone is not enough.
      For some people, going eink means not use regular LCD screens except for few hours a day (the opposite of what an average eink user these days does...), and in that case, they get relief for their eyes.

    • @whydaksh
      @whydaksh 2 роки тому +1

      @@fcf8269 I agree with you that the it’s not going to make an absolute difference. In my experience, in each situation I’m in, if I deal in or near absolutes, then I’m rarely happy. Once I melted that rigid ness away and started seeing how everything bleeds and melts together in a spectrum I noticed a greater mental and physical health. So if I’m coming home from work with lcds and typical screens and want to play my piano, if I get 20 minutes of eink use whirl looking at music sheets, those moments are relieving for my eyes. That’s invaluable, even setting up for a relief driven evening. But if it was an iPad, my eyes may strain for another 20 minutes while reading notes which would combat the musical experience I’m trying to have.
      So yeah, if we deal in absolutes, then most of us would get nowhere. Small changes lead to larger changes.

    • @fcf8269
      @fcf8269 2 роки тому

      @@whydaksh While I agree that small changes make things better somehow; the point of view here is that you don't "gain" better eye sight; just reducing the rate at which you are ruining your eyes, if you use 20 min of eink display.
      Eink screen does not give you back eyesight nor revert a condition if present; they help, and that's why for many people it is so hard to get that the whole thing is just marketing spiel and perception.
      But that's OK; placebo exist for as long as medicine existed; and many people could swear that they feel better using an eink display; so that is what matter.
      In absolute terms it does not make much of a dent, but people don't care about actual absolute facts; just care about how they feel; so that's why the topic is mostly a matter of personal perception more than anything.
