MS Subbulakshmi sings at Anandashram in 1955

M.S. Subbulakshmi sang at the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Mother Krishnabai's renunciation on or around 29th September 1955. The recital took place in a large pandal at Anandashram, Kerala, which was located at the spot where the Homa Mandir now stands. This recording was found on an old spool tape. The accompanying film clips show Swami Ramdas, Mother Krishnabai and Swami Satchidananda at the ashram and on trips in India and abroad. I am told that the latter part of the recording, even though on the same occasion may be of another singer.
