Y'know, I never thought about the identity crisis that Teto must be suffering. As a Vocaloid, she was just treated as a joke. As an UTAU, she was seen as a queen, but even as the top UTAU, she was "walmart Miku." Now as a SynthV, she's been redesigned, all the story she'd been given (chimera bloodline, baguette love, I'm sure theres probably more but I'm not a Teto scholar) is something she can't really embrace anymore. She's not the silly little UTAU I grew up with. She's not even the silly little UTAU she grew up as. My heart goes out to Teto, finding her new identity and anyone else who wouldn't recognize themselves from the past. Damn, I didn't expect an animation for a Teto song to make me reminisce, but I'm remembering how much of my past self that I no longer identify with. Would 12 year old me even recognize me? Physically, maybe, but personality and beliefs? The way I act conpared to old me? We're practically strangers.
