@@discospiff I've managed to solve the issue after digging deep into the firebase documentation. I think the main difference is how how functions are called. For example in V8 you would do something like db.myfunction. Whereas in v9 you call the specific function you need then pass in the db e.g mySignInFunction(db) or at least that's how I understood it. Sorry if my explanation isn't clear I'm new to this so it's still a little confusing to me, I might be using the wrong terms to describe things.
