But honestly I don't like that saying its insulting to a team like the Lions who show up and play their best, its not so much the Packers choking it the Lions not giving up. Thanks Lions, and I would have been cheering for the Lions anyway if it meant they were to get in and not the Seahawks, would love to see them go on a Cinderella story run too.
I had no rooting interest in this after the Lions got knocked out, but I found myself still rooting for them. Condolences Tom, to an extent, though I also feel like you have it coming a bit with all the shots you take at the Vikings, who have never hurt anyone but their own fans.
After the struggles the Lions have been through, this is a feel good moment for them, and alot of people that were rooting for them. Tom my son and I love your content, that said I'm glad my Lions won. You are one classy guy, I saw how you reacted on the Monday Night game and I felt your emotions you are a good guy.
I think the best part of all of this is not only did they beat the Packers and deny them the playoffs but they also made the Packers negative and passed them in division standing. Feels good.
I'm sorry your Packers didn't win this one, and head into the playoffs. You're such a good host online, and I would have loved to have you do another Packers-Vikings game (my team). Hang in there Tom! I hope ESPN or some other sports network catches some of your programs - specials for the week etc. You could make the Big Time!

To me I think you got it backwards. Had Detroit not been eliminated from playoff contention they wouldn't have been sleep walking in the first half and let GB hang around and would've won this game comfortably. Detroit was 8-2 down the stretch and they have been beating playoff teams easily like Jacksonville, NY Giants & Minn. GB little 4 game winning streak had nothing on Detroit but nobody pays Detroit any attention. The worst thing about all this was the NFL first splitting the Seattle game so they could do the NFL referee B.S. like they did in this game to try n get Rodgers and the Packers into the playoffs.
Yeah, they’re just super mediocre. Pretty good defense, not great, their best offensive skill was rushing, which they weren’t otherworldly or anything at. Rodgers isn’t as sharp as he once was and he no longer had an elite receiver to throw to. If you can’t pass big in the NFL, you’re a bubble team. Lions are the superior team for sure.
@@infinitelybanta Rodgers still has elite arm talent which he showed off a lot tonight, but it felt like almost every game he’d throw an int that would leave you saying wtf. Not having a really reliable WR hurt but it was shocking seeing the difference in decision making that one offseason made

Yeah, I just don’t get Rodgers. To my eye, he hardly ever looks motivated when it comes to crunch time (at least the last three years or so). I swear I’m not a hater, I actually like the guy, but I do wonder if he actually cares that much about football at this point.
@Banta he's not Tom Brady. Both are fantastic and all-time greats. But Tom is literally football, while Rodgers has said multiple times he will retire when it's time. He's getting old and not playing well anymore. I think he retires, knowing he ain't got it anymore.

You guys are building something special in the D…Plus Dan Campbell is one of my favorite NFL personalities. He’s the type of coach players love to go all out for.
@@jayclark1551 I love Dan Campbell. He's an amazing motivator. My only questions with him were game management situations but even those he showed a lot of improvement all year.

Thank you lions, as a Seattle fan it feels good to be in the post season, but, seeing as how we've played San Fran this year twice.. it's gonna be brutal
It’s really hard to beat any NFL team 3 times in a year!!! Have faith we’re playing on borrowed time. We have nothing to lose and have great draft picks coming up.
I think most of us fans have seen our team have at least one soul-crushing loss. Losing during the win and you're in scenario is the worst. As a Ravens fan, 2017 comes to mind. The Bengals brought pure joy to Buffalo and misery to Baltimore.
Lions make it to the post season next year. No SHOT they don't. They have been pushing so hard to get a winning season, and it payed off. Tom? I'm sorry. But the Lions earned the HELL out of that win. It's a whole new world boys.
As an Aussie can I just say maybe install a sin bin (think penalty box in hockey) rule like NRL? Basically 10 min out of the game with no substitution, you get the guy back if there's time but it hurts the team...
Titans and Packers eliminated in first game last year both traded their top wide receiver and both don't make the playoffs after losing to their cat themed division rival by the same score
A Vikings channel has claimed the term "Skol-enfreude", the Vikings version of schadenfreude, and my lord is my skolenfreude strong now! Better luck next year Tommy boi!
If the lions start the year playing like they did at then end of this season they might be genuine contenders. Just hear me out. They nearly beat Buffalo the went 8-2 the final 10 games if they play like that… don’t expect their season to end at week 17. Lions fans don’t lose hope. I’m pretty confident they will make it next year. It just took to long for the rookies to grow. And your starting defense has a lot of them. So don’t lose hope this is a HUGE turn around from a 3-13-1 season.
The Bears will own the division next year.....all the picks .....all the money.....the Lions will be 2nd......Vikings 3rd......GB last.....they will trot out pretty much the same garbage for the next two yrs....then start the rebuild....probably be a decade or more till they are relevant.
@@cornpopsrazor5375 unless there is a miracle the bears will not be winning the division. It probably going to be Minnesota or Detroit. It could be Green Bay if they actually draft wide receivers but who knows.
@@Covid0001 The Vikings will regress as they will keep the midget at qb and fail in this post season....it is what they do. Green Bay has a lot of mismatched pieces and bad contracts they need to unload and AR has checked out obviously. It just depends on what Chicago spends their money on....if they get a haul of picks on top of their haul of picks and have more than twice as much money as the next closest team....yeah they could turn it around in one year....because as improved as the Lions are....no one in the North is terrifying......if they fuck it up in the offseason.....the GM and coach will probably be gone sooner than later....but ....with that spot and not needing a qb....they are going to be able to hold a couple of teams hostage and still get a game changing pick....and they are going to free up even more money because there are going to be more people gone who are vets. Pace put them in this spot with overpriced old vets.....those guys are all gone. If they were in another division it might not be as possible.....but in this one.....not hard to turn it around.....they stayed in a lot of games with bums on the Field because Fields was carrying the whole team.....just giving him an offensive line and one top WR mixed in would change a lot. Their offensive line was about as bad as I have ever seen on the whole....shocked he didn't get completely fucked up for the season at some point.
I’m a Vikings fan but the sadness on his face is way to familiar to mine these last few years. Hopefully the Vikings win the Super Bowl so I can die happy. I just want one … just one.

The EMOTIONS at 3:20:16 .. DAYUM !😆
That was a hell of a play....The Lateral! 😖
Ya try so hard...to get this far...but in the end..IT DOESNT EVEN MATTER LOL
They had to fall, and they lost it ALLLLL
So Happy The Lions Bounced On The Packs And Tear Them Apart & Discarded them😂😂😂 Yeesarrrr
2:54:19 when Quay Walker becomes LOLCOW of the week
Kerby Joseph is Aaron's DAD
Go Seahawks!
SEA!
sorry tom for the loss
I think most of us fans have seen our team have at least one soul-crushing loss. Losing during the win and you're in scenario is the worst. As a Ravens fan, 2017 comes to mind. The Bengals brought pure joy to Buffalo and misery to Baltimore.
Man your reaction so much calmer than mine🤣😭 Packers for life man so sad to see
Lions make it to the post season next year.
Who thought all those field goals instead of touchdowns would come back to haunt us? Answer: Everyone
3:20:22 You're welcome
Titans and Packers eliminated in first game last year both traded their top wide receiver and both don't make the playoffs after losing to their cat themed division rival by the same score
Good game.
I wonder why Tom wasnt laughing and cheering as much for the second interception like he was the first.
It’s sad the packers couldn’t make Super Bowl 55 or 56 because I would have loved to see it
go lions!!!(im a seahawk fan)
Go seahawks
This is exhausting year after year
my deepest condolences
You're welcome Seahawks. Good luck, and don't you PASS on the this opportunity to win the big one.
but at least Tom dont have to suffer watching the Packers losing to the 49ers
Wow, Hawks are in the Playoffs? Holy Crap!!!
A Vikings channel has claimed the term "Skol-enfreude", the Vikings version of schadenfreude, and my lord is my skolenfreude strong now! Better luck next year Tommy boi!
Love it
I know how it feels the packers have done that to the lion's plenty of times definitely my favorite green bay fan
thank you lions for keeping the Hawks in the playoffs, even though the Hawks were the reason that you wont be in the playoffs!
The fact they didn’t get blown out on thanksgiving should be a sign of improvement
My words exactly bro
@@MrSackman We will get there eventually man
@@ridinggaming3769 one day brother one day
Not here to mock. Been on the other side of this before. Good season and great game packers
